To meet its operational needs and consolidate its position in Nigerian market, the company has identified the need to recruit qualified, focused, results-oriented and competent professionals to fill the following positions:
Manager, Drilling (ES00463)
Reporting to the Head, Technical Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing effective drilling programmes and planning operations to meet critical HSE objectives. Specific responsibilities include;
- Championing the development of world class, cost effective drilling programmes.
- Delivery of efficient strategies and procedures for all drilling activities.
- Ensuring the development and motivation of the drilling team.
- Liaising with NAPIMS, DPR, MMD, and other statutory drilling regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
KEY REQUIREMENT
- A good degree in Geosciences or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution. Possession of a post-graduate degree, preferably in Drilling or Well Engineering, Will be advantage.
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant work experience preferable on deep water offshore floating rings.
- Valid IWCF and other relevant certificates
Successful candidates for all roles must be great team players with excellent organization, presentation and communication skills. They should also possess working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
