Our client, a dynamic and innovative service provider, is an affiliate of a leading international world class manufacturer of high-end medical imaging and diagnostic equipment company engaged in full turn-key medical solutions for the Healthcare projects in Nigeria with branches nationwide. As a result of expansion and strategic re-positioning, the organization seeks the immediate employment of this exceptional individual.
GENERAL MANAGER, MEDICAL SALES DIVISION (ABUJA) Ref; GMM 01
Reporting to the Executive Director
Tasks/Key Responsibilities
*Lead a team of professionals for the company's marketing, sales and customer support activities.
Responsible for business development, strategic planning and the sourcing and administration of
New accounts.
*Achieve profitability objectives through effective management of team implement and execute all
Company-wide or regional level initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help meet or exceed
Profitability goals.
*Work to establish budgeted sales volume and performance.
*Provide proactive team leadership to achieve profitability objectives in a method
Consistent with company's vision and values.
*Execution of company-wide marketing initiatives through effective management of the team.
*Development and delivery of specific marketing and sales initiatives,
*Exhibits relationship-oriented approach to customers and vendors.
*Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent customer service with the dealership operations.
*Work with customers, corporate team and management to resolve complaints or concerns In a fast, positive, result-oriented fashion.
*Communicate reporting results and dealership performance statistics as appropriate to imp rove performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\SKILL\COMPETENCIES
*Must be between the ages of 35 - 45 with a minimum of 15yrs experience, 5 of which should be in a Senior Managerial position.
*Recognized bachelors degree in the Sciences and a Masters degree in same (MBA would be an added advantage).
*Applicants with medical degrees and/or with a Radiology background would be preferable.
*Experience in Medical Science sales or sales of medical equipment is a must.
*An intense desire to succeed and a strong work ethic.
*A proven track record of executive teamwork and leadership
*Excellent presentation and communications skills.
*Have strong corporate relationship building skills
*Process oriented with strong analytical skills and creative problem solving capabilities.
*Computer literacy IS essential and must have established contacts in the Nigerian Healthcare field.
