We are a leading international Non-governmental organization working in the area of HIV and AIDS care And treatment .We require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic candidates for this position.
ADHERENCE ASSISTANTS
Location; Kogi, Akwa Ibom
Responsibilities:
*Under the supervision of the regional adherence advisor, the adherence assistant will be Responsible for providing health education services to HIV positive patients utilizing a variety of methods including, but not limited to individual counseling and group discussions within the ART program in the applicable ICAP related sites.
*She\he will provide onsite oversight to the peer health educators and ensure patient tracking.
Qualifications and experience required:
*First degree or HND in nursing or social sciences;
At least one year of experience working in a medical setting with sick patients;Knowledgeable of HIVinformation and able to communication their expertise to HIVpositive patients;
Willingness to participate in HIV-related training and meetings
*Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities.
This position requires significant amounts of travel to program sites.
Remuneration are competitive and will be based on qualifications and experience.
