The Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) is a non governmental organization (NGO) specializing in good governance programmes, budget tracking, and revenue management as well as environment and climate change issues. Headquartered in Benin City and with an advocacy office in Abuja, ANEEJ works with Federal and Niger Delta States Governments, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Civil Society and Community Based Organizations and business in improving governance, access to information and capacity of all stakeholders in addressing the many challenges facing Nigeria today. We are expanding our operations in building the capacity of state governments, departments and agencies in rev¬enue management, state assemblies in their role and responsibilities in oversight, civil society in monitoring and the media in their understanding of these issues, as well as informing decision makers in the development of the Niger Delta Ministry. FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Qualification and Experience:
The Finance and Administration Manager should have University Degree or its equivalent in relevant field with six years cognate experience with a private sector compa¬ny or Civil Society Organization. The position requires a candidate with deep understanding of accounting systems, accounting standards/principles, financial reporting and preparation of book. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Excel and have experience in automated financial and accounting systems especially QuickBooks accounting software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties of the Finance and Admin Manager would among others include the following:
 Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Finance and administration department
 Track project accounts.
 Prepare the organization's budget and monitor its implementation.
 Articulate and ensure budgetary controls and proce¬dures.
 Provide periodic reports on budget performance.
 Authorize the payment of staff remuneration, goods and services, and the maintenance of proper accounting records.
 Prepare financial statements and any other financial reports that would be required by management.
 Relate with external and internal auditors with a view to making available to them necessary records and explanations required for their audit.
 Personnel and human resources functions (preparing and implementing personnel polities and procedures)
 Supervising all matters relating to logistics-general pro¬curement, stationeries, motor vehicle maintenance travel arrangements.
 Drafting and updating of the staff manual of Rules and Regulations
 Supervise the planning and organizing of all statutory and other technical meetings of the organization.
 Review Staff performance criteria and updating of the form.
 Staff development and training.
 Recruitment and appointment of support staff.
 Any other duties that may from time re assigned.
