The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), a coalition of human rights, Non-governmental and Civil Society Organizations, base in Abuja is seeking highly qualified and experienced Nigerian candidates for the position of:

ACCOUNT OFFICER

Responsibilities:

§  As part of a larger team, you will in conjunction with the other Program Staff will draw up budgets for proposals, project development and implementation and other logistics arrangement for programmes

§  Prepare financial accounting reports to all donor agencies and partners as at when due

§  Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

Qualification/Experience

§  HND/B.Sc. Accounting plus any recognized professional qualification like ACCA, ACA, CPA

Key Competences

§  Strong analytical mind and passion for details

§  Ability to work in a team

§  Ability to work with less supervision

§  Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks, Excel, Word packages

 Duration of Post: One year with the possibility for extension subject to satisfactory performance.
