MINISTRY OF TOURISM, CULTURE AND NATIONAL ORIENTATION, ABUJA

INVITATION TO BID FOR 2009 GENERAL PROCUREMENT
The Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation hereby invites reputable and qualified contractors, vendors with vast experience on the project being advertised to apply to be considered in the bid for 2009 General Procurement.

Lot 1 -        Taraba State:
Building of Craft shops, Borehole, Overhead tank and supply Generator, Potters wheel and furnaces.

Lot 2 -            Benue State:
Supply of Potter wheel, Embroidery Machine, sewing machine knitting machine and local furnaces.

Lot 3 -            Sokoto State:
Building of Cultural Industry Centre, Supply of Potters wheel Embroidery, Sewing, spinning and helming machines

Lot 4 -            OgunState:
Building of Cultural Industry Centre, furnaces and Supply of potters wheels, Local embroidery, sewing and knitting machines.

Lot 5 -             EnuguState:
Building of Village Hall, Potters skill Centre, Art Display Shop, Walk ways, Kitchen and Restaurants, Borehole and overhead tank.

Lot 6 -        Ondo State:
Building of molded hurts with thatched roofs, borehole and overhead tanks

2.           To qualify for consideration, contractors or vendors are required to submit the under listed pre-qualification documents: -
a)      Certificate of Incorporation.
b)      Article and Memorandum of Association.
c)      Three years (3 tax clearance).
d)      Any other relevant information that may give your company an edge to securing of the contract.

Interested and qualified Contractors/Suppliers should pick up their bid document at the office of Deputy Director (Procurement), Room 313, Federal Ministry of Tourism,     Culture and National Orientation, Phase III, Abuja.

3.    The quotation and pre-qualification document must be submitted in line with the above stated requirement in paragraphs 1-3 respectively. Interested Bidders should submit     their bids and pre-qualification Information/Document in sealed envelope marked “Bid for 2009 General Procurement and Consultancy Services” on or before 14th     July, 2009 to:

4.     Not withstanding the submission of this Bid document, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation is neither committed nor obligated to include any     contractor/company in the Bid list which shall only be made up contractors/vendors/companies that have qualified from the Bidding exercise.
