EQUIPMENT FOR THE STATISTICS BRANCH OF THE FEDERAL

1.     The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Health System Development Project II. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Equipment for the Statistics Bunch of the Federal Ministry of Health.

 

2.     The Federal Ministry of Health. Health System Development Project II now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Laptops, LaserJet and DeskJet Printers. Multimedia Projectors and Screens, External Drive, Scanners and Spiral Binding Machine.

 

3.     Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the National Project Coordinator, Health System Development Project II, 11th Floor, Federal Ministry of Health. 4.     A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee often Thousand Naira Only (N10,000.00).

 

5.     Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12,00 noon on 1st February, 2010 and must be accompanied by a bid security of at least N195,000.00 (one hundred and ninety five thousand Naira only)

 

 

6.     Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, on 1st February, 2010 at 1.00 pm, at FMOH’S Conference Room, 6th Floor, Federal Secretariat Complex Phase III, Abuja.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedure specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines, “May 2004”

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Coordinator, Cross River State Governance and Capacity Building Project Office, and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given below, from 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N15, 000.00 or US$120.00. The method of payment will be by Cash, certified Cheque or Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be collected by hand or sent by Courier services on request.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16th January 2010 at 12:00noon. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as indicated in paragraph 3 of the table above and shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bids validity period i.e. 150 days. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the presence at the address below on 6th January 2010 at 12:15pm. Bidders can purchase the bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the form a Bank Draft or cash for the sum of N10, 000.00 only, in favour of Sokoto Fadama III Project.
