INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF OFFICE

EQUIPMENT FOR THE STATISTICS BRANCH OF THE FEDERAL

MINISTRY OF HEALTH

1.     The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Health System Development Project II. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Equipment for the Statistics Bunch of the Federal Ministry of Health.

2.     The Federal Ministry of Health. Health System Development Project II now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Laptops, LaserJet and DeskJet Printers. Multimedia Projectors and Screens, External Drive, Scanners and Spiral Binding Machine.

3.     Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the National Project Coordinator, Health System Development Project II, 11^th Floor, Federal Ministry of Health. 4.     A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee often Thousand Naira Only (N10,000.00).

5.     Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12,00 noon on 1^st February, 2010 and must be accompanied by a bid security of at least N195,000.00 (one hundred and ninety five thousand Naira only)

6.     Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, on 1^st February, 2010 at 1.00 pm, at FMOH’S Conference Room, 6^th Floor, Federal Secretariat Complex Phase III, Abuja.

PROCUREMENT OF CIVIL WORKS FOR LANDSCAPING & FENCING OF JUDICIARY MODEL COURT COMPLEX,

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in the Development Gateway Market Web Site and appeared in Development Business on August 22^nd 2007.

2. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of implementing a State Governance and Capacity Building Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to pavements under the Contract for the Landscaping and Fencing of Judiciary Model Court Complex, Moore Road Calabar, Cross River State. 3. The Cross River State Governance and Capacity Building Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Fencing and Landscaping of the Judiciary Model Court as follows:

Bidders may bid for any one or more lots and discount offered for more lots will be considered during evaluation.

Note: All items (1-2) are under one lot. Bidders quoting for incomplete lot will have their bids declared non-responsive.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedure specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines, “May 2004”

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Coordinator, Cross River State Governance and Capacity Building Project Office, and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given below, from 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N15, 000.00 or US$120.00. The method of payment will be by Cash, certified Cheque or Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be collected by hand or sent by Courier services on request.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16^th January 2010 at 12:00noon. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as indicated in paragraph 3 of the table above and shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bids validity period i.e. 150 days. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the presence at the address below on 6^th January 2010 at 12:15pm. At the conference room, cross River State Government and capacity building project, Department of Establishment building new Secretariat, Calabar, Cross River State.

INTRODUCTION:

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Third National Fadama Development Project. Part of which proceeds has been on-lent to the Sokoto State Government. The Sokoto State Government now intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments of Goods to be procured under this project. The project will be jointly financed by the World Bank, Federal Government of Nigeria, Sokoto State, 20 number participating Local Government Councils and over 100 Fadama Community Associations (FCAs).

The Sokoto State fadama 111 Project, hereinafter called the purchaser, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Goods detailed below:

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information, inspect at or purchase the bidding documents at the office of the Procurement Officer, Sokoto State Fadama III Co-ordination Office (SFCO).

Bidders can purchase the bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the form a Bank Draft or cash for the sum of N10, 000.00 only, in favour of Sokoto Fadama III Project.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid Security as specified above in the form of irrevocable letter of credit or Bank Guarantee and must be delivered to the office of Procurement Officer, Sokoto State Fadama III Coordination Office not later than 12:00pm (Local Time) on 18^th January, 2010.

Bidders quoting in foreign currency will have to submit bid security in US Dollars, and Bidders quoting in Local currency must submit bids security in Naira.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who chose to attend the bid opening at 12:00 hours (Local Time) on 18th January, 2010 at the Sokoto State Ministry of Agriculture premises.
