- The Federal Government of Nigeria has received credit from the International
Development Association toward the cost of NIGERIA COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Computers and Accessories – BS/CBUDP/NCB/10/1
- The Bauchi State Community Based Urban Development Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

- Bidding wall be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and
IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines,
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from BAUCHI STATE COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, at the address given below and inspect the Bidding Documents from 11:00am to 4:00pm Monday, to Thursdays, except on public holidays.
- Qualifications requirements include:
Evidence of previous Snpph (Sale) of Similar Goods Proposed for the last Five (5) years. Last Three (3) years Audited Financial Statement to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and Adequate working capital
A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not/ be applied.
Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) Only. The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Draft in Favour of BAUCHI STATE COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or send by courier services on request.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:30 a.m on MAY 11TH
2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:30 a.m on MAY 11TH 2010, All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security or Certified Bank Draft of at least 2% of bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR 2010 CAPITAL PROJECTS
In compliance with the requirement of the public procurement Act of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Auchi Polytechnic hereby invites interested and reputable consultants, contractors and suppliers with relevant experience and good track record for pre-qualification for consultancy services and execution of 2010 capital projects as follows:
A. INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS IN
EXECUTING THE PROJECTS STATED BELOW:
- Furnishing of Library Extension Building,
- Procurement of equipment for Civil Engineering Technology Department and Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology (Power Option),
- Construction of Workshop/Laboratory/Office for Food Technology Department,
- Construction of Workshop/Laboratory/Office for Mineral Resources Engineering Technology Department
- Construction of Studio/Offices for Fashion Design and Clothing Department,
- Construction of Main Administration Building.
B. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Reputable and interested contractors and suppliers are required to submit their applications along with the following documents:
- Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Evidence of tax clearance certificate in the past three (3) years (2007- 2009).
- Evidence of V.A.T Registration and remittance in the past three (3) years (2007 2009).
- Company profile which should include names, qualification and experience of key personnel,
- Evidence of similar projects handled by the company including Letters of Award, Practical Completion Certificate etc, within the last five (5) years.
- Evidence of valid subsisting registration with Auchi Polytechnic in the relevant category.
- Evidence of registration with FME/FMH/FMWT.
- Evidence of financial capability to handle the chosen project,
- Evidence of Social/Communal responsibility.
- Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after opening of pre-qualification documents.
C SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
Application for pre-qualification in sealed envelope clearly marked stating the project intended to handle should be forwarded to:

On or before 22nd April 2010. The submitted Pre-qualification Documents will be opened immediately in the Polytechnic Boardroom at the Expiration of the deadline.
NOTE: The invitation for Pre-qualification is not an invitation to tender and only pre-qualified Contractors will be invited to tender.
D. INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONSULTANTS INTERESTED IN PROVIDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES ON PROJECTS STATED ABOVE
Interested consultants are to forward pre-qualification documents stating the project they intended to handle. Such documents should include:
- Evidence of Registration with relevant Professional body.
- Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Evidence of tax Clearance Certificate in the last three (3) years (2007 2009).
- Evidence of similar projects handled by the firm.
- Company profile which should include names, qualification and years of experience of key personnel.
- List of support equipment available for such projects e.g. Computer System, Graphic Plotter, Printer Software etc
- Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after opening of prequalification documents.

This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in DG Market of the World Bank on 19th June, 2009 and daily trust of July 3, 2009.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the international Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of National Fadama Development Project III, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for payment under the contract for procurement of Computer and office machines. Niger State is one of the thirty Six participating states on the project.
The Niger State Fadama Co-ordination office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of under listed equipment.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive bidding process as specified in the World Bank Guidelines for procurement under IBRD loans and IDA credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as define in the guideline.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00pm (Monday to Thursdays) and 9:00 am -1:00 pm (Fridays)
A Complete set of bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) paid in cash or bank draft. The Bidding documents should be collected by hand from the project office of NSFCO or can be forwarded to the bidders by Courier Services on request
Bids must be delivered to the project at the address stated below on or before 12:00 noon (Local Time) on May 3, 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned in the table above or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

Requirements) for supply of goods; And/or
iii. Manufacturer’s Authorization / or Declaration for a line of credit for the goods to be supplied by the Bidder
- Experience and Technical Capacity :
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s):
Previous experience in supply of vehicles and equipment of similar types and magnitude.
- The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that the Goods its offers meet the usage requirement stipulated in the Bidding Document.
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.
