TENDER DOCUMENTS

The tender documents will be available for collection by all interested Contractors/Suppliers upon the payment of non-refundable fee of N25, 000.00 per set with effect from Tuesday 13th April, 2010 in the office of the Permanent Secretary Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. All completed tender documents should be accompanied with the following requirements:-

(a)     Evidence of Registration and Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or Borno State Ministry of Commerce.

(b)     Evidence of Registration with Borno State Government as a contractor or supplier.

(c)      Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.

(d)     Evidence of Financial Capability.

(e)      Company Profile.

(f)      Experience.

TENDER CLOSING DATE

The closing date for the submission of all tender documents has been fixed on or before Tuesday 20th April, 2010 at 10:0am prompt.

TENDER OPENING:

All Contractors/Suppliers that have submitted their bidding documents should come for the opening at the office of the Permanent Secretary on 13th April, 2010 by 2:00pm prompt

  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received credit from the International

Evidence of previous Snpph (Sale) of Similar Goods Proposed for the last Five (5) years. Last Three (3) years Audited Financial Statement to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and Adequate working capital

A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not/ be applied.

  1. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) Only. The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Draft in Favour of BAUCHI STATE COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or send by courier services on request.

Pre-Qualification Notice

The Office of the Surveyor General of the Federation (OSGOF) invites interested, reputable and qualified companies with experience in the execution of Interstate/International boundaries survey projects for pre-qualification for the prosecution of various boundaries to apply projects and those considered eligible will be short listed for tendering.

Requirement For Eligibility

  1. i.            Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  2. ii.            Tax Clarence Certificate for the past three (3) YEARS/VAT remittance
  3. iii.            Details of company profile including personnel Evidence   of  previous  experience  in Interstate/International boundaries survey projects/jobs
  4. iv.            Evidence of registration with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON),
  5. v.            Any other relevant information that may enhance the chances of the company.
  6. vi.            Tenderers must note that boundary projects are specialised, sensitive, geodetic precision jobs before tendering. Evidence of ownership of High Precision digital Survey quipment will be an advantage.

SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICAT10N DOCUMENTS

(i)                The pre-qualification documents (2 copies) must be returned in sealed envelop, marked at the top left hand corner, ” Pre-qualification documents” addressed to The Secretary, Ministerial Tenders Board, OSGOF. The sealed envelope is to be dropped by hand into the tenders box of the OSGOF on or before 12 noon on Tuesday 20th April, 2010. Opening of pre-qualification documents shall commenced at 1:00pm on the same day Contractors or their representatives, Nigerian Institute of Surveyors (NIS), NGOs and the general public are encouraged to attend, please.

(ii)             The pre-qualification is not a commitment by the OSGOF nor shall it entitle tenderers to any claims whatsoever. It is also not an invitation to tender

(iii)           Names of Pre-qualified Companies will be published on the Notice Board of the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation on Tuesday, 27th April, 2010.

4. Please note that only short listed companies that satisfied the pre-qualification conditions are to collect the detailed tender documents to enable them bid for boundary projects. All contraction, are expected to collect departmental specifications for boundary jobs from the Director (Boundaries) if and when required.
