1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has applied received a loan from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Bauchi State Health System development Project II and intends to apply part of the funds to cover the eligible payments under the Contract for Provision of Boreholes, Water Tank and Accessories at PHCs Galdimari, Liman Katagum, Dagauda and Miya:BASG/HSDPII/NCB/001/CWIAFDB/2009

2. The Bauchi state Health System Development project II invites sealed bids for the Drilling of Boreholes in sedimentary and basement formation and the construction of 45m3 (10,000 Gallons) capacity steel storage overhead elevated tank on 6m above ground on steel universal columns comprising angle braces, ledges ladder supply, delivery, overflow pipe and valves painted with oil silver oxide in accordance with the drawings to be executed complete at PHC Maternity Galdimari, PHC Maternity Dagauda, Primary Health center Liman Katagum and PHC Maternity Miya in Bauchi State

Bidding Documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at Bauchi State Health Systems Development Project II Ministry of Health, P.M.B 65 Bauchi, Bauchi State for a non refundable fee of N20, 000.00 only for each set upon submission of a written request. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same office.

4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of (N150, 000.00 Bank Draft). Bids shall be delivered to Bauchi State Health Systems Development project II ministry of health, p.m.b. 65 bauchi, Bauchi State on or before 11.00am, 18th January, 2010, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.

6. 7. Bid shall remain valid for 30 days while the submitted bid shall also remain valid within the bid validity’ period of 90 days from the bid opening date and must be accompanied by a bid security as specified in the schedule of requirement, and shall be delivered to the office of the Project Manager, FCT Health Systems Development Project II,
