THIRD NATIONAL FADAMA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

1. This invitation for Bids follows the General, Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business issue no. 637 and Daily Trust Newspaper of Nigeria of July 3^rd, 2009
2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (World Bank) various currencies to finance the cost of the third National Fadama Development Project (NFDP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of computers and office equipment
3. The Rivers State Fadama Coordination office (RVSFCO) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of under listed items.

NB

Bidders may bid for any one or more lots

1. Bidding will be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedures Specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD loans and IDA credits and is open to all bidders from Eligible sources countries as defined in the Guidelines
2. Interested eligible bidders may be obtained further information from Rivers State fadama coordination office (Rvsfco), riversfco@yahoo.com , 08033133961, and 08034912556 and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below.
3. A complete set of bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira only, (N10, 000.00). The method of payment will be cash or Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be sent by Hand.
4. Bids must be delivered to the Rivers State Fadama Coordination office on or before 12 noon 1^st February, 2010, Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below
