INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF PROJECT VEHICLES

INTRODUCTION

The Federal Civil Service Commission intends to procure Project Vehicles to enhance its oversight and monitoring functions. To this end, the Commission wished to invite interested accredited agents and dealers in Toyota Vehicles to apply for prequalification and tender for the award of the contract.

SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work consist of supply of the following brands of Toyota vehicles

a).        Toyota coaster Bus

Specification:

Engine IHZ, long Wheel Base, High Roof, seating capacity 30, Overall length mm 6990, Overall width mm 2025, Overall height mm 2600, Air condition, Petrol Engine, ABS, Reinforced Suspension, 27000cc, Reversed lamp with alarm.

b.         Toyota Camry

Specification:

2,4 XLE, Automatic Transmission, key less entry, Inner wood finishing, ABS, Dual Climate Air Conditioner, CD changer/MP3 Adopted, leather seat, petrol Engine 2400 cc

c.         Toyota Corolla

Specification

1.8 litre 16 soupepes (2ZR-FE), Categorie N, Transmission 6MT/4AT, Type 4 Cylinders, avec Double VVT-I, Air Condition, Airbags, Alloy Wheels

d.         Toyota Hilux

Specification

2,7VVT-I 4 Wheel Drive, Double Cabine DLX, Air Condition, Petrol Engine Reinforced Suspension, Airbags, Auxiliary gear.

3.        PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

a.         Evidence of registration or incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission

b          Evidence of valid tax clearance and VAT certificate for the past three (3) consecutive years.

c.         Verifiable evidence of similar jobs executed in the past.

d.         Bank reference from reputable bank(s)

e.         Profile of the Company.

f.          Evidence of dealership or Agency from Toyota Company.

g.         Company’s audited account for the past three (3) consecutive years.

4          Prospective contractors may wish to note that the officials of the commission may undertake a visit to their premises to confirm the availability of the vehicles.

5.         SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The pre-qualification documents should be submitted on or before Monday 22^nd February, 2010 by 12.00 noon in a sealed envelope marked on the right hand corner “pre-qualification documents for the supply of project vehicles for the Federal Civil Service Commission” addressed to the Secretary, Ministerial Tenders Board, Federal Civil Service Commission” addressed to the Secretary, Ministerial Tenders Board, Federal Civil Service Commission, No.3 Abidjan Street, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja.

6.         The pre-qualification documents will be opened on 22^nd February, 2010 at 1.00pm in the Committee Room Federal Civil Service Commission, Abuja companies or their representatives are advised to seated before the opening.

7.         TENDER PROCEDURE

Tenders are required to pay non-refundable deposit of N25,000 in the cash office of the Commission and obtain a receipt. Tender documents are obtainable from the office of the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Room 345 upon presentation of evidence of pre-qualification and payment of stipulated fee.

8.         SUBMISSION OF TENDER

Completed tenders should be returned in sealed envelope on or before 12 noon on 23^rd February, 2010 clearly marked “Tender for the Supply of Project Vehicles for the Federal Civil Service Commission”. Tenders will be opened at 1.00pm on 23rd February, 2010 in the Committee Room Federal Civil Service Commission, Abuja.

9.         Please note that only contractors that are pre-qualified and found suitable will have their tenders considered for the award of the contract.
