INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF FOREIGN JOURNALS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA LIBRARY
- 1. INTRODUCTION
The University hereby invites reputable and interested companies to apply for Pre qualification/Tender for the supply of foreign journals for the year 2010
- 2. PREQUALIFICATION/TENDER REQUIREMENTS
- Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Tax clearance certificate for the last three years (originals may be required for authentication)
- Evidence of financial capability to handle the job
- Verifiable evidence of having completed similar jobs in the last three years. Names of clients, location of project, contract sum with the certificate of completion/final payment and photograph
- Name and address of bankers and their recommendations
3. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION/TENDER DOCUMENTS
The Pre-qualification/Tender documents shall be collected from the University Librarian upon the presentation of the evidence of payment of N10, 000 fees in the Cash Office of the Bursary Department, University of Abuja, Main Campus, Airport Road, Abuja. Photocopies of the receipt(s) must be included in the submission. Completed forms (pre-qualification and tender) are to be sealed and marked at the top right corner of the envelope “pre-qualification/tender documents for “The…….” and delivered by hand to:

Submissions of prequalification and tender documents must reach the above address on or before 3rd May 2010. The documents so submitted shall be publicly opened at 2.00 pm of the same day at the VC’s Conference Room of the University’s Main Campus, Airport Road. Abuja. All Bidders are required to be present on the day and time of opening.
iii) For further clarification on this prequalification/tender contact the University Librarian, University of Abuja, Mini Campus, Gwagwalada Abuja between the hours of 10 am – 2 pm Monday to Friday from the date of this advert to the close of the Pre-qualification/Tender period.
vi) Bidders are to note that participation in the prequalification exercise does not grant any company the right to be considered for Tender.
vi) Companies who cannot fulfill the above conditions need not apply.
vii) The University reserves the right to disqualify any or all qualification documents.
