INVITATION
- 1. INTRODUCTION
The Federal Government of Nigeria its desire to further enhance electricity supply in the country had granted approval to produce Distribution Transformers for maintenance and reinforcement of electricity supply infrastructure in Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company
Consequently, Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company invites tenders for the supply of Distribution Transformers
- 2. SCOPE OF WORK
- i. Supply of 500KVA , 11/0.415KV Distribution Transformers
- ii. Supply of 500KVA, 33/0.415KV Distribution Transformers

| Supply of 500KVA, 33/0.415KV Transformers for Odogunyan, Ikotun & Ikorodu Business Units | 3 No |
- Bidders may bid for more than one Lot.
- Delivery to be completed no later than 4th February 2010
ELIGIBILITY OF PRODUCT
- Transformers must conform to the IEC/ANSI specification.
- Transformers Brand must have been in PHCN network not less than 5 years.
- Transformers must be supported with shipping documents to be eligible for procurement.
REQUIREMENT OF TENDERERS
- A copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the Company in Nigeria
- Current Company Tax Clearance for the last Three (3) years
- Up to date VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of VAT remittances
- Evidence of Financial capability from a reputable Bank
- Shipping documents to be enclosed in the Bid
- Any other information or document(s) that will place the Company on a comparative advantage over others
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENT
Interested Applicants should submit their Technical & Financial Bid Document along with the requirement state in 4.0 above in sealed envelopes indicating the Lot and marked “Tender for (indicate Lot No). Name and mailing address of the Tender Company shall be clearly stated at the back of the envelope 9(s). The documents, which must be submitted by hand are to reach the following address on or before 12:00 Hours on Wednesday, February 17 2010

Most of the Transformers are being procured locally. These all Transformers are fake and Duplicate.Only Name plate details & some markings are being made as it is a brand name. Be aware of ABB, Siemens….if it is availble in locally.
PHCN engineer must test all types of Transformer specially TYPE TEST from Manufacturer.
Be aware of Transformers.
