INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF C-BAND VSAT AT THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL OF NIGERIA OFFICES AT LAGOS AND ABUJA

A. Introduction

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, a Parastatal of the federal Ministry of Hearth, in accordance with the  provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2007, hereby invites experienced and reputable Suppliers/Vendors to Tender for the Supply and Installation of C-Band Vsat at its Lagos and Abuja offices

B Specifications:

• The system should be:-
• 256/256 kbs (Initially)
• High contention Ratio
• Compact reliable “One box” solution
• Fast arid flexible
• Superior error corrections techniques to minimize weather related performance degradation.

2,         The systems should support:-

• IT Telephony
• 802 -11 wireless connection to PC’s and PDA’s
• Video collaboration
• Unified messaging
• Broad band connectivity to corporate applications
• Multi-Mega byte speeds on uplink and downlink

3.         vendors/Suppliers must specify their:-

• Competence and experience
• Contention Ratio
• Quality of service mechanism
• Error correction mechanism etc.

C.        TENDER REQUIREMENTS:

• Interested contractors must submit the under listed verifiable documentation:
• Certificate of incorporation/ Registration with the Corporate Affairs commission
• Professional License to practice as   issued   by   the   relevant professional ‘body
• Company profile and Evidence of similar projects executed over the fast three years with copies of letters   of   award   and   job completion certificate.
• Evidence   of Tax   clearance Certificate and VAT for the last three Years
• Evidence of financial capability from bank

D.        SUBMISSION OF TENDER AND FINANCIAL BIDS:

All completed Tender and financial bid documents should be enveloped separately and submitted on or before 12 noon of 23^rd March, 2010 in sealed envelopes clearly marked “SUPPLY OF VSAT” to:

All suppliers/vendors are invited to the bid opening which is secluded as follows:
