NIGERIAN ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF TEXT BOOKS

The Nigerian Accounting Standards Board (NASB) is a body established by the National Assembly vide Act No. 22 of 2003 with the primary responsibility of developing and publishing in the public interest, high quality accounting standards to be observed in the preparation of financial statements; to promote the general acceptance and adoption of such standards by preparers and users of financial statement and to promote and enforce compliance with accounting standards developed.

In order to achieve these objectives of ensuring high quality reporting by corporate organisations, the Board is desirous of engaging interested contractors who are competent, experienced and reputable to tender for the supply and delivery of the following items:-

Lot 2 Journals

Requirements

1. The Nigerian Accounting Standards Board now invites eligible contractors to indicate their interest in providing the services listed above. In addition to the requirements stated below, interested contractors must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the contract (by providing description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, manufacturer’s authorization, etc).

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of Management and key Technical/Professional Staff including evidence of their registration with relevant professional bodies.

3. Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commit

4. Corporate Profile of the Firm including Registered Address functional e-mail, GSM Telephone Numbers and Fax.

5. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for at least three (3) years.

Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Director (Administration), Nigerian Accounting Standards Board, Elephant Cement House (4^th Floor) Alausa, Ikeja.

Completed Bid documents are to be in sealed envelope marked at the right hand comer with their appropriate job description and lot number on or before 25^th November, 2009 and addressed to:

Bids will be opened in the NASB Meeting Room immediately after close of bid at 2.00pm.
