INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ENIONG CREEK IRRIGATION

DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT, ODUKPANI LGA, CRS

PREAMBLE

The Cross River Basin Development Authority (CRBDA) is Parastatals of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources changed with comprehensive Development of Surface and Ground Water Resources, Flood and Erosion Control, Hydrological Mapping etc in Akwa Ibom and Cross River States.

The Cross River Basin Development Authority invites reputable Civil Engineering Construction firms for Pre-qualification for the construction of Eniong Creek Irrigation, Drainage and Flood Control Project at Eniong Villages, Odukpani Local Government Area, Cross River State.

SCOPE OF WORK

The proposed work Include:-

Construction of irrigation Canals, Field drains, field roads, Access roads, Flood protection dyke, Land-leveling, supply of Tractors & Equipment etc.

COLLECTION OF PREQUAURCATION DOCUMENTS

Pre-qualification documents will be available from Monday, 29th June, 2009 free of charge; interested contractors will be required to forward the following documents with their submissions

· Company Registration Certificate

· Profile of Company including CV of key Personnel, Details of Plants, Equipment, Vehicles and Machinery with evidence of ownership/lease/access.

· Evidence of similar jobs executed in the past 5years.

· Membership Affiliation to relevant professional bodies,

· Annual Turnover of not less than N500m and Audited Account (3 years) including Tax clearance certificate

· Evidence of liquidity or access to confirmed credit of not less than N500m

SUBMISSION OF PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

Closing date for the submission of the completed Pre-qualification Documents is 12:00pm on

Monday, 20^th July, 2009, The Prequalification Documents which should be sealed and marked

“PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ENIONG CREEK IRRIGATION, DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT” at the right hand corner of the envelope should be addressed and delivered to the

OPENING OF PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

Prequalification Documents received will be opened publicly at the Conference Centre of the Cross River Basin Development Authority Calabar at 2pm, on 20^th July, 2009. The Authority will thereafter undertake verification of all claims made by Contractors. Only Pre-qualified Contractors will be invited for the collection of the Financial Bid Documents.
