EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR HOUSING SCHEME IN THE NIGER DELTA REGION ACQUISITION CENTRES
The Ministry of Niger-Delta Affairs intends to pre qualify consultants, for consultancy services for the construction of Housing Scheme in the Niger-Delta Region.
2. SCOPE OF WORKS
The scopes of works include detail/full design including all necessary tests, complete preparation offender documents, supervision and project commissioning.
3. LOCATION OF PROJECTS:
2/3 Bedroom Prototype Housing Scheme in each State in the Niger Delta
4. REQUIREMENTS
Interested Civil Engineering. Architects, Building Engineers. Quantity Surveyors etc. Consulting firms who wish to participate in the Housing Scheme/Mortgage Projects are required to submit their Firm’s Profile which must include but not limited to the following documents:
(i) Evidence of incorporation of the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(ii) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate.
(iii) VAT Certificate and evidence of remittance to FIRS
(iv) Evidence of the firm’s Corporate Registration with the appropriate Professional body
(v) Details of staff strength including the Curriculum Vitae and profile of key staff
(vi) Details of previous construction undertaken including scope and certificates of valuation
(vii) Clear indication of Head Office address
(viii) Evidence of up-to-date Annual Returns
(ix) Sworn affidavit that the Firm is not bankrupt
(x) Sworn affidavit that none of the Directors is an ex-convict or bankrupt
(xi) Evidence of Financial Capacity and banking support( Bank Reference, Recent Statement Of Account)
Original documents mentioned in paragraph 3 (i) – (iii) above must be produced for sighting during opening session.
5 METHOD OFAPPLICATION
The consultancy Services will be executed with strict adherence to all contractual terms in the signed agreement by all partners. All invited consultants will be required to submit Technical Proposal.
The entire documents must be scaled in an envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR HOUSING SCHEME/MORTGAGE PROJECTS IN THE NIGER DELTA REGION”.
6. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
Bid documents in three (3) hard copies and one (1) soft copy (CD) should be submitted to the MTB Secretariat temporarily located in the Permanent Secretary’s Office, 10th Floor, Phase I, Federal Secretariat, Shehu Shagari Way, Abuja. Submission should be made on or before 6th April 2009, 12:00 noon on that date. Bids will be opened on the same day in the Secretariat Conference Room on the Ground Floor by 1.00 p.m. in the presence of all bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
7 NB:
Response to this invitation shall not oblige Ministry of Niger-Delta Affairs to consider any responding firm for qualification. All costs incurred as a result of response to this invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the responding firm.
