INVITATION FOR TENDER
The Borno State Government Intends to construct a new Orthopedic Hospital, renovate/Rehabilitate health facilities located in different parts of the State and also provide essential medical equipment to the Health facilities.
In pursuant to this, pre-qualification Tenders are hereby invited from reputable and competent building contractors for the construction, renovation/rehabilitation works and also medical equipment suppliers for the procurement of the essential medical equipment to these Health facilities.
The State Ministry of Health hereby invites eligible bidders with the necessary pre-qualification documents to purchase Bid document for tie construction, renovation/Rehabilitation works and the procurement of the essential medical equipment detailed below:

| 5. | Lot 5 | Supply of A/C and Refrigerators to State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri | N20,000.00 |
| 6. | Lot 6 | Construction of shopping complex at the perimeter fence of SSH Maiduguri | N20,000.00 |
| 7. | Lot 7 | Supply of office/ward furniture to state specialist Hospital Maiduguri | N20,000.00 |
| 8. | Lot-23 | Renovation/Rehabilitation of General Hospital in Magumeri, Gubio, Damasak , Abadam, Kukawa, Gajiram, Mafa, Dikwa,
Konduga, Ngoshe, Kirawa, Azare, Marama, Kwaya Kusar, damboa and Benishikh. |

Pre-Qualification
Interested reputable building contractors and Medical Equipment suppliers are hereby requested to submit their pre-qualification documents, which shall include:-
- Company Tax clearance for the past three years
- Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
- Company profile including names of directors, qualifications, experience in handing these types of projects, company staff and equipment.
- Evidence of financial capability to handle such project.
- Current Registration Certificate as a contractor with the Borno State Government,
- Manufacturer’s authorization
- Any other relevant information that may be of advantage to your company
Method of Application
Pre-qualification documents are to be purchase upon Payments of the Prescribed Tender Fee of N20.000 00 from the Department of Planning Res., State Ministry of
Health, (HQ) Musa Usman Secretariat, Maiduguri
Returns of pre-qualification and Bid documents are to be made to the Secretary Ministerial Tenders Board (MTB) Ministry of Health (HQ), Musa Usman Secretariat,
P.M B 1044, Maiduguri, on or before 16th February, 2010.

Date for official opening of Bid documents will be communicated to Bidders who may choose to attend.
