INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme in Yobe State. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of 40 KVA 380/220volt sound proof Electricity Generating set and 100KVA by 11kv Tropicalized Electricity Transformer.

1. The African Development Bank – Assisted Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:

a)     1 No. 40 KVA, 380/220Volt, sound proof Electricity Generating set, and

b)    b)    1   No. 100KVA by   11kv Tropicalised Electricity Transformer.

1. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of non – refundable fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5.000.00) only
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding Documents at the address below.
3. Bids must be delivered to the office addressed below on or before 12.00 noon on 12 April 2010; and the bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the same address by 1.00 p.m.
