PROCUREMENT OF ICT Infrastructure (Enterprise Resource Planning Application, Database Software, Servers and Local Area Network) for the Headquarters

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue of 29/11/2004.
2. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Economic Reform and Governance Project (ICT infrastructure development) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of ICT Infrastructure (Enterprise Resource Planning Application, Database Software. Servers and Local Area Network) for the Head Quarters
3. The National Insurance Commission now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of ICT Infrastructure (Enterprise Resource Planning Application, Databdase Software, Servers and Local Area Network) for the Head Quarters. The details are as follow:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the National Insurance Commission and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9.00arn to 4 00pm . Mondays to Fridays.

1. Qualifications requirements include: Evidence of company registration, last three (3) years audited financial statement. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorization letter and evidence of similar jobs done in the past 3 years. Additional details are provided in the Bidding  Documents

1. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of ten thousand naira only (N10,000.00) or sixty dollars ($60). The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft made payable to National Insurance Commission. The Bidding Documents should be collected by hand at the address stated below or for work or forwarded to bidders by courier on request

1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12 noon on 18^th April 2010 Electronic bidding will not be permitted Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representative, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12 noon 19^th April 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” as specified in paragraph 3 above
