INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR TENDER

The FCT Education Resource Centre invites competent experienced and reputable contractors for pre-qualification to tender for the Construction of various construction works supply and installation of printing press equipment in the 2009 Capital project Contractors are invited to pre-qualify for contractor under the following categories.

· CONSTRUCTION OF WORK

· SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF PRINTING PRESS EQUIPMENT

2 PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS CRITERIA:

1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

2. Evidence of Current Registration with ERC

3. Company’s profile and copy of Articles and memorandum of Association

4. Evidence of financial capability, banking support. / Company Audited Account for 3 years

5. Experience and Technical competence

6. Evidence of Similar PROJECT(S) executed and Technical capacity

7. Evidence of current Tax Certificate &VAT Registration and evidence of past remittance

8. Names and Address of Bankers

9. Any other documents that may enhance the Company’s chance of qualification for the job

3. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

The pre- qualification documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked “PRE-QUALIFICATION Documents to tender” for (Name of Projects) to be addressed to:

4. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

The completed -PRE-QUALIFICATION Documents should be deposited in the Tender Box in the Office of the Secretary of the Committee at the Management Board Room at Education Resource Centre, Wuse zone 7, Abuja on or before 12 noon 11^th May, 2009

5. OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

All submission received will be publicly opened at the Management Board Room Education Resource Centro, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja at 12:00 noon on 11^th May 2009
