INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR THE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT OF IT WORK TOOLS IN CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA

INTRODUCTION

The Central Bank of Nigeria is desirous to undertake the following projects.

1.         Maintenance of Desktop Computers

2          Maintenance of Laptops

3.         Maintenance of Tablets PCs

4.         Maintenance of Printers

5.         Maintenance of Xerox Workstation Printers

6.         Maintenance of UPSes

7.         Maintenance of Scanners, and

8          Maintenance of Stabilizers

Consequently, the Bank wishes to invite reputable and competent companies for pre-qualification and tender for the projects as stated below.

2.0     SCOPE OF WORK

Maintenance Support of the above stated IT Work tools in CBN

(REF:CBN2Q10SPMO-01)

a)         The scope of the bid requested is for the comprehensive basic maintenance support of the following IT work tools in all CBN locations across the country.

1.         Desktops (3718 units): Models; Zinox, HP and IBM

2.         Laptops and Tablets PCs (1315 units) : Models; Zinox,HPandlBM

3.       Printers (1341 unit): Model; HP

4. .     Xerox Workstation Printers (20 units)

5.       UPSs (2229units): Models; APC, Zinox, and Libert

6.       Scanners (97 units): Model; HP

7.       Stabilizers (1891 units): Models; Mercury, Samlex

b.         The services will be offered by Resident Engineers on site between the hours of 8am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.

c.       Ensure at least 95% performance availability

3.0      GENERAL REQUIREMENT

Interested and competent companies wishing to carry out the above job must submit the following documents for verification:-

(a)       Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

(b)       Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as and when due

(c)        Comprehensive company profile including registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s) facsimile number(s)

(d)       Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past

(e)       Reference letter from a bank stating financial ability to carry out such project(s)

(f)        Current company’s audited statement of accounts

(g)       Evidence of employees Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a pension fund Administrator

(h)       Evidence of remitting employer and employee pension contributions to the appropriate pension fund custodian

(i)         Evidence of transferring all Pension funds and Assets prior to the commencement of the  pension Reform Act to licensed pension operators.

4.0     Collection of Bid Document

Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the above job should collect the Information for Bid (IFB) from Secretary Major Contract tenders Committee, PSSD (2nd Floor, wing C) on the payment of a non-refundable fee of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only) for each bid. The payment will be in Bank Draft payable to CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA

5.0     SUBMISSION

The submission will be in two separate envelopes,

A.        The General Requirements should submitted in one wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left Corner:

“Maintenance Support of IT WT… (indicate the project and its Reference number)”

B.        Financial  bid should be submitted in wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner:

“Financial Bid for the Maintenance Support of IT WT (indicate the project and its Reference number)” “…( indicate the project and its Reference number)”.

And addressed to:

CLOSING DATE

All submission must be received at the above Address on or before 11th February, 2010 by 3.00pm.

OPENING DATE

The tenders shall be opened on Monday 3rd February, 2010.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

1.         Only successful   pre-qualified  company(s)  will   have  their financial   Bids evaluated   Full   tendering   procedure  will  be applied to contractors pre-qualified and found capable of executing  the project.

2.         Nothing on this notice shall be construed to be commitment on the part of CBN

3.         The successful contractors will be contacted.
