FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WORKS, HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, HEADQUARTERS, MABUSHI-ABUJA

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF 2010 BUDGET

The Federal Ministry of Works, housing and Urban Development   intends  to   implement   the  projects contained in the 2010 Budget bordering on Works’, Services and Goods to include the following areas:

1. Procurement and installation of streetlights on Federal Roads and Bridges.
2. Maintenance/Upgrading of facilities in the Ministry, Field Offices, Training Schools and Workshops
3. Procurement/Installation   of Generators,   Equipment and stationeries.
4. Maintenance/Rehabilitation of Federal Secretariat and field Offices in some selected states.
5. Provision  of Infrastructure  (Roads, Culverts and drainages) in selected Federal Governments Estates.

2.   In view of the above, the Ministry is inviting reputable interested Companies and Service provider to submit Tender Documents for the execution of the projects.

Eligibility/Requirements

1. i.            Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
2. ii.            Registration with COREN (If it is for Consultancy Services)
3. iii.            Companies Current Tax Clearance for the last 3 years
4. iv.            VAT Registration Certificate.
5. v.            Evidence of Financial Capability and banking support.
6. vi.            Audited Account of the Company (If applicable)
7. vii.            Company Profile showing:
8. Technical and experiences of key personnel to be involved in the project
9. Plants, equipment and technology Capacity

List of similar projects executed in the last seven (7) years.

4.         Companies currently working for the Ministry whose contracts are unjustifiably behind schedule need not apply.

5.         The Tender Documents (2 copies) shall be signed, sealed in an envelope clearly marked “Confidential” and boldly written Tender for (name of the relevant Area of Interest) and returned to:

The Secretary,

Ministerial Tenders Board,

Department of Public Procurement,

Federal Ministry of Works,

Housing and Urban Development,

Headquarters, Mabushi-Abuja.

So as to reach him on or before 12^th April, 2010 by 10:00 am.

6          Submission will be opened on (insert date) 2010 in the Conference Room of the Ministry at 12:00 noon. Contractors or their representatives and the general public are all invited.
