1. This invitation for bid follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, Issue No. 591 of 2^nd July 2007.

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Science and Technology Education Post Basic Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to the payment under the contract for SUPPLY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENTS AND CHEMICALS, E-BOARD, TEXTBOOKS & OTHER LEARNING MATERIALS, and 1 NO. 18-SEATERBUS

1. The Federal Government Girls’ College, Kazaure STEP-B Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the following:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedure specified in the World Bank Guideline procurement under IBRD loans and IDA credit, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

1. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the submission of a written application to the address non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only.

1. Qualification requirement include:
   1. Certificate of incorporation from CAC
   2. Current tax certificate for the last 3 years valid up to December, 2009
   3. Company profile including details of key staff
   4. Evidence of experience in similar contract including letters of award and details of involvement
   5. A letter from the Bank showing financial capability of executing the contract
   6. Additional details provided in the bidding document

1. The bidding document must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 noon, on 15^th April 2010 Electronic bidding will not be permitted, Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders on 15^th April, 2010, by 12.00 noon

1. Analysis of pre-qualification will be carried out first. Only meet the minimum pass marks will have their tender documents further analyzed to arrive at evaluated responsive bid Evaluation will be on Lot basis or combination of Lots. Award shall also be on Lot by Lot basis or combination of Lots.
