INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFICATION/ENGAGEMENTS OF CONSULTANTS

The University of Agriculture, Makurdi requires urgent competent and reputable Consultants/Consortium for general works and construction of a Lecture Theatre at South Core Campus This being a commitment on project implementation for the 2010 capital appropriation.

Interested Consultants/Consortium are hereby invited to submit pre qualification documents which shall include the following.

1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
2. Tax Clearance for the past Three years;
3. Audited Account for the last Three Years.
4. Company profile with detailed list of Principal Technical Personnel including their academic/professional qualifications, registration with professional bodies e.g. ARCON, COREN, NIQS etc;
5. Corporate Registration with ARCON, COREN etc;
6. List of Similar Services or works done to confirm the ability and capability of the Consultants/Consortium for successful handling of the above project;
7. Evidence of completion of similar work previously handled;
8. In the case of a Consortium the fulfillment of the requirements in  1-6 by the Principal Consultant could  be considered sufficient;
9. Demonstration through equipment skills and experience to carry out relevant:

10.   Environmental Impact Analysis; Technical Site Survey and Soil Investigation etc;

11.   Registration with University of Agriculture, Makurdi

In order to keep to our lean budget for the above project, preference shall be given to competent consultants within the Makurdi locality to avoid liabilities on transportation/accommodation reimbursable.

The completed tenders and the pre-qualification dossiers are to be returned and submitted latest 10.00 a.m. 18^th February 2010 to the Office of the Registrar

GENERAL INFORMATION:

This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the University nor shall it entitle the interested Consultant/Consortium to make any claims whatsoever and seek indemnity from the University.

Improperly compiled, signed, sealed and addressed Tender/Pre-qualification documents shall not be entertained.

The would-be consultant/consortium will pay a non refundable processing fee of N 1 5,000.00 to the University Bursary Department. The Registrar shall not be obliged to engage in any communication on the outcome of the exercise.
