INVITATION TO TENDER

DRILLING OF BOREHOLES ACROSS THE STATE

Borno State Government in its desire to meet the aspirations  of its citizenry by providing adequate portable water, invites pre-qualification tenders for the drilling of boreholes across the state in the two geological regions as follows:-

1. i.            Borno Central Senatorial Zone - Drilling of 350M -650M depending on the location in 8 local government areas within the sedimentary zone.
2. ii.            Borno North Senatorial Zone - Drilling of 450M -650M deep boreholes (Artesian Zone) in 10 Local Government Areas within the Sedimentary Zone.
3. iii.            Borno South Senatorial Zone - Drilling of 100M boreholes in 9 Local Government Areas within the Basement complex rocks

Pre-qualification

Interested   and   reputable   drilling   contractors   are requested   to   submit   pre-qualification   documents indicating their preferred zone of drilling works. Documents to be submitted should include:-

1. Evidence of incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Evidence of registration with Borno State Tenders Board
3. Tax clearance certificate for the past three years
4. Profile of the company including names of Directors, qualifications, experience of the company staff and equipments.
5. Evidence of financial capabilities to handle such jobs
6. Verifiable list of projects completed within the past four years
7. Any additional information that would enhance potential of your company.

Method OF APPLICATION

Return of pre-qualification documents are to be made to the Secretary, Ministerial Tenders Board, Ministry of Urban and Rural Water Supply, P.M.B 1188, Maiduguri, on or before 19^th March, 2010. All tender documents are to be accompanied by N50, 000.00 non – refundable fees payable to the Ministry of Urban and Rural Water Supply, Maiduguri.
