INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR 2009 CAPITAL PROJECTS

1. INTRODUCTION

The Management of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Ijanikin, Lagos invites reputable Contractors/Companies with relevant experience to apply for Pre-qualtfication of the -Construction of the 2nd Wing of Senate/Learning Resources Building (Fellows’ Suite).

2. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

In order to be considered for pre-qualification, interested bidders must submit the following :-

i. Certificate of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

ii. Evidence of current Tax Clearance

iii. Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years

iv. VAT registration and evidence of remittance

v. Evidence of experience with similar jobs in the last three years. This should include the scope, volume of work and the

amount, which should be verifiable,

vi. Certificate of completion (v) above

vii. Evidence of financial capability

viii Location of showroom, warehouse and maintenance workshop, not postal address.

ix. Evidence of qualification and registration with appropriate professional bodies

x. Company profile including names and technical qualifications and experience(s) of personnel

xi. Evidence of availability of spare parts

xii Evidence of maintenance capability for at least five years from the date of commissioning of the infrastructure.

xiii Payment of non-refundable Tender Fee of N10,000m (Ten Thousand, Naira) only.

3. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

The completed pre-qualification documents should be enclosed in sealed envelope and marked (Pre-quqlification for the contruction of 2nd wing of senate Building) and addressed to:

The completed pre-qualification document should be submitted on or before 17th July, 2009 in the Tender box between 8.00am – 4.00pm on working days in the office of the College Registrar NPMCN, Ijanikin, Lagos. Bids will be opened on the last day of submission by 2.00pm in the presence of bidders of their representative who choose to attend.

Only Pre-qualified companies/contractors will be contacted to submit their tenders

The college reserves the right to reject any or all pre-qualification documents.
