Invitation for Pre- Qualification Of
Consultants for Education Trust Fund
(E.T.F) Special Intervention Projects
In compliance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Act of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Kaduna Polytechnic hereby invites interested and reputable consultants with relevant experience and good track record of consultancy services for execution of Education Trust Fund Special Intervention Projects as follows:
Constructions
- Construction of Block of Classrooms and Staff Offices in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
- Construction of Chemical Engineering Department Classrooms and Staff Offices.
- Construction, Equipment and Commissioning of Lecture Theatres
- Construction, Equipping and Commissioning of interactive, teaching learning platforms/Laboratories.
2. Pre-Qualification Requirements,
Interested consultants are to forward their pre-qualification documents stating the project they intend to handle. Such documents should include:
- Evidence of registration with relevant professional body
- Evidence of Incorporation /Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three (3) years (2007-2009).
- Evidence of similar projects handled by the firm including cost.
- Company profile which should include names, qualification and years of experience of key personnel
- List of support equipment available for such projects eg. computer system, graphic plotter/printer software etc.
- Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after opening of pre-qualification documents.
3. Submission of Applications.
Applications for pre-qualification should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “APPLICATION FOR PRE QUALIFICATION AS CONSULTANT” to include the title of the chosen project and addressed to;
The Registrar, Kaduna Polytechnic, P.M.B.2021, Kaduna,
on or before 12:00 noon on Monday, 15th March, 2010 The submitted Documents will be opened at 2:00 p.m, the same day in the Council Chambers at the Central Administration building, Kaduna Polytechnic, Polytechnic Road, Tudun Wada, Main Campus, Kaduna.
4. Note.
The Institution shall not bear the cost of preparation and submission of application for pre-qualification. The Institution is neither committed nor obliged to undertake the work described in the advertisement.
