Invitation to Tender for the Construction of Standard Classroom Blocks (USE Type) in 27 Local Government Areas of Borno State

The ministry for local Government and chieftaincy affairs wishes to on behalf of the 27 Local Government Areas in the state, invite interested and eligible contractors to Tender for the construction of Standard Classroom Blocks in all the 27 Local Government Areas,

1.0 Scope of Work:

In line with Borno State Government policy on Education as enunciated in its ten (10) point Agenda, the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs will on behalf of the 27 Local Government Areas of the State coordinate the construction of various, office and store in each of the following Local Government Areas of Borno State.

1. Abadam

2. Askira/Uba

3. Bama

4. Bayo

5. Biu

6. Chiko

7. Darnboa

8. Dikwa

9. Gubio

10. Guzamala

11. Gwoza

12. Hawul

13. Jere

14. Kaga

15. Kala-Balge

16. Konduga

17. Kukawa

18. Kwaya- Kusar

19. Mafa

20. Magumeri

21. M.M.C

22. Marte

23. Mobbar

24. Manguno

25. Ngala

26. Nganzai

27. Shani

2.0 Tender Documents:-

Tender Documents for the construction of UBE Standard Classrooms, Office and Stores in each of the 27 Local Government Areas in the State are available for collection at the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs upon the payment of Tender Fee of N10, 000.00.

3.0 Submission of Completed Tender Documents:

All completed Tender Documents should reach the office of the Permanent Secretary Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on or before 9th November, 2009 a sealed envelop marked ‘Tender for the Construction of Standard Block of Classrooms, Office and Stores”.

4.0 Opening of Tender:

All Tender shall be opened by 12:00 noon on the last day of submission in the office of the Permanent Secretary Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Maiduguri.

5.0 Additional Requirement;

All completed Tender Documents should be accompanied with the following:-

a. Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration

b. Registration with Borno State Government of Federal Government as contractor

c. 3 years Audited Company Account

d. Tax Clearance for 3 years

e. Company Profile

f. List of construction equipment

6.0 Important Notice:

This advertisement should not be considered as a contract award or any commitment on the part of any of the Local Government Area listed above, nor shall it entitle any contractor and/or company to make any claim whatsoever from any Local Government Areas by virtue of having responded to this advertisement.
