PRE-QUALIFICATION OF PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF NNPC GENERAL BONDED WAREHOUSE IN MOSIMI
SAGAMU, OGUN STATE
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) intends to undertake the construction of a General Bonded Warehouse. The Warehouse Shall be fully equipped with all necessary ancillary facilities as stipulated by the licensing approval requirements of the Nigerian Customs Service This advert is to request interested and reputable Civil Engineering Construction Companies to submit themselves for pre-qualification.
2.0 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT (WORKS):
The General bonded Warehouse project shall include but not limited to:
· Construction of a warehouse building measuring about 60m x 45m to accommodate offices at ,two (2) levels, cold -storage area, dry chemical storage area, covered un stuffing area etc in concrete and steel stanchions roofed with steel members,
· Construction of a wet chemical warehouse storage building of about 11 m x 16m in clockwork,
· Construction of a 200nos 40 feet open container stacking area finished in reinforced concrete.
· Construction of Drainages, Sewage system, Potable Water Supply network, Electrical power connection, Fire Alarm System & CCTV, Concrete paving, Asphalt pavement in parking area etc.
· Complete fencing of the site with provision of security watch towers gate house(s) in an area of about 200m x 110m
· Procurement of computer hard/software, Installation and Connection to the ASYCUDA system.
3.0 COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS
All companies wishing to express their interest to bid for this project shall submit relevant documentation for pre-qualification as stipulated in 4.0 below. Only Companies that are adjudged successful in the pre-qualification exercise shall be invited to collect tender documents upon payment of a non-refundable bid fee of:
N150 000 00 (One hundred and fifty thousand naira only) for the Construction of NNPC General Bonded Warehouse.
All payments shall be in Bank Draft payable to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
4.0 PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
By this publication, the NNPC hereby invites competent, reputable and experienced civil engineering Contractors for pre-qualification to bid for the required services as described in 2.0. Interested companies shall submit pre-qualification documents detailing their Company’s capabilities relevant experience and financial status as follows.
4.1 Full details of company profile with CAC certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria certified true copies of memorandum and Articles of association of the company and CAC and from CO7 (Particulars of Directors)
4.2 Registration with Department of Petroleum Resource (DPR)
4.3 Registration with NNPC Headquarter or any of its subsidiaries in category C.
4.4 Proof of Company’s financial capabilities, including audited accounts for the last three (3) years along with corresponding tax clearance certificate value added tax (VAT) registration certificate and evidence of past VAT remittance
4.5 organizational structure and available work force with CVs of key personnel evidencing adequate human capital for the required services,
4.6 Evidence that the entity is registered with the relevant professional engineering bodies;
4.7 Details of foreign/local technical partners including joint venture/partnership inception date, scope and copy of partnership agreement;
4.8 Company’s CASHES and QA/QC policy;
4.9 Relevant and verifiable cognate experience with NNPC, or other organizations, on similar projects in the past five (5) years. (Please include job Completion Certificates, Year, Project Title, Client, Project Value and Duration, Client’s Contact Person, Phone number and e-mail address etc., For completed projects and award letters for on – going projects).
4.10 Provide list of construction equipment owned by the company;
4.11 Confirm willingness to commence with the execution on the basis of a Letter of Intent;
4.12 Nigerian Content: plan indicating utilization of Nigerian Materials, Good Services and Manpower, Established presence in Nigeria including investment(s) and plan for training/transfer of technology to Nigerian.
