Catering Services at FCDA

FEDERAL CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

INVITATION TO TENDER

Tenders are hereby invited from interested caterers for furnishing and managing of FCDA Staff canteen at area 11 Garki, Abuja,

The Authority will not change rent for the place so that the services rendered by the caterer would be affordable by staff of all categories. In addition the caterer will not be paying for electricity or water bills. These and others are to guarantee affordable cost of the meals.

2.         Interested caterer wishing to manage the staff canteen are expected to be guided by the followings:-

(a)          Provide standard furniture, kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, plates and cutlery

(b)          Operating hours shall be between the hours of 7am to 7pm,

(c)          Engagement is for three (3) years with a probation period of one year.

(d)         All caterers are expected to report to the Deputy Director, Recurrent Division of Procurement Department on 15th March, 2010 for inspection of the facility before submission of their bids.

You are to tag your quoted prices to the menu listed above in your submission and changes in prices will be subject to negotiation with management/stakeholders during the period of engagement

4.         OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  1. i.            Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
  2. ii.            Evidence of current three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate
  3. iii.            Evidence of previous engagement in similar services
  1. All candidates are to pay non-refundable fee of N10, 000.00 to Aso Savings & Loans Bank at Area 11, Garki, Abuja and Photocopy of evidence of payment is to be attached along with the tender documents.
  2. All tenders are to be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Executive Secretary FCDA and marked on the top right hand corner u Tender for furnishing and management of FCDA Staff Canteen” and to be dropped in Room 017, block B. Deputy Director (Recurrent Procurement).
  3. The closing date for receipt of tender is on or before 22nd March, 2010 by 12 Noon and late submissions will not be accepted.
