INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION NHA/ADM/CP/176/10/VOL.1

1.0

The National Hospital, Abuja intends to execute the under-listed approved Capital Projects in the year 2010 and hereby invites competent and experienced Companies to apply for pre- qualification.

2.0    Proposed Projects:

1. i.            LOT 1-      Construction of Additional Wards/Pharmacy Complex
2. ii.            LOT 2-    Supply and Installation of Hot Water Pipe line Networks & Calorifiers
3. iii.            LOT 3-    Supply of Medical/other Equipment
4. iv.            LOT 4-    Supply of Kitchen & laundry Equipment
5. v.            LOT 5-    Supply of Communication Equipment
6. vi.            LOT 6-    Construction of Fuel Dump

3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements

3.1 Interested Companies are required to submit the following documents with their written application:

1. i.            Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
2. ii.            Evidence of tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years
3. iii.            Evidence of VAT Registration
4. iv.            Evidence of Registration with the National Hospital, Abuja as a Contractor
5. v.            Evidence of Financial Capability/Banking Support
6. vi.            Evidence of Audited Accounts for 3 years
7. List of Key Personnel showing their experience and technical qualification
8. Evidence of similar projects executed in the past 5 years
9. ix.            List of Equipment and Technology Capacity
10. x.            Evidence of Registration with Federal Ministry of Works

4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:

All applications with relevant pre-qualification documents are to be submitted in a sealed 15* x 9.5* envelope marked appropriately at the left hand corner e.g. “Pre-qualification for lot 1” and addressed to:

and to reach him on or before 10:00 am, 5th March 2010. The envelopes containing the Pre-Qualification documents shall be open on the same day at 12 Noon at the Boardroom, National Hospital, Abuja and representatives of Companies and general public are invited to witness the exercise.

4.2 Please note that only Companies that are successful in the pre-qualification exercise shall be invited to tender for the relevant project, which shall attract appropriate processing fee.

4.3    The National Hospital, Abuja is not obliged to give reason(s) for any unsuccessful application.
