INVITATION FOR TENDER AND PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR 2009 CAPITAL PROJECTS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT BAYERO UNIVERSITY, KANO

1. Bayero University, Kano intends to carry out the under-listed works at its various compuses

2. Tender are to be purchase by capable and competent contractors who are currently registered with the Federal Ministry of works and or Bayero University, Kano in relevant categories. When completed, the tender document are to be returned with pre-qualification documents as follows

i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affair Commission

ii. Evidence of Category of Registration as Contractor with B.U.K or F.M.W

iii. Tax Clearance Receipt/Certification for the last three (3) years

iv. List and Plants/Machinery and Equipment

v. List and type of personnel working for the Company

vi. List of verifiable and similar projects completed within the last three (3) years with evidence.

vii. List of on-going projects with their cost(s) and evidence of award

viii. Relevant information conceming means of contacts, e.g. Telephone, E-mail addresses etc. of the Company.

ix. Photocopy of receipt as evidence of payment of processing fees.

3. The tender/pre-qualification documents required should be submitted within Twenty-one (21) from the date of this publication to the Registrar’s Office by 12.00 noon.

4. All contracts wishing to tender for the projects must accompany them with evidence of payment of processing fees to be paid to the Bursary Department of the University

5. Documents received from any contractor after the expiry date will not be considered.

6. The project and their tender processing fees are as follows:
