Invitation for Expression of Interest for Advisory Service Activities

The Federal Government 01 Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association IDA towards the cost of implementation of the Third National Fadama Development Project (NFDP III), Part of the credit has been on-lent to the Nasarawa State Government who intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payment for contracts to be awarded for Advisory- Services Activities (ASAs) in the thirteen (13) Local Government Areas of the State with over 75 Fadama Community Associations (FCAs) and 963 Fadama User groups (FUGs).

Advisory Services for FCAs & FUGs shall include (but not limited to) the following areas.

• Adaptive Research, Technology Development and Transfer Support
• Agro-processing storage technologies
• Agro-business and market linkages
• Agricultural technologies and facilitation skills
• Water management and conveyance system
• Soil conservation practices
• Sustainable pressure management
• Sound use of agro-chemicals
• Agro-forestry and sustainable Ecosystem management
• Inputs and extension services providers
• Fisheries technology
• Livestock production and management

All service providers whose responses satisfy the requirements will be selected and allowed to bid for Advisory Service activities contracts under the project.

The Nasarawa State Fadama Coordination Office in conjunction with the Nasarawa Agricultural Development Project (NADP) now invites sealed ”Expression of interest from interested firms, persons, NGOs, or public agencies and institutions,

The ‘Expression of Interest should state clearly the field of interest and the qualification for such role(s), backed with documentary evidence,

Prospective Advisory Services providers may be required to show original copies of submitted document during the course of the selection process.

Interested firms, persons.
