EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE REHABILITATION OF 80MW HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER GENERATING UNIT 1G7 AT KAINJI HYDRO ELECTRIC PLC
INTRODUCTION
The Management of Kainji Hydro Electric Plc as part of its effort to
Rehabilitate Unit 1G7 Hydro Turbine Machine wishes to invite qualified and reputable Consultant with good track record for expression of Interest to draw up the Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation as well as supervise a Retrofit project of 1G7 from its beginning to the end.
SCOPE
a. To establish the Bill if Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) based
on the scope of work drawn up by Alstom Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
b. To supervise the Execution of the Project from its beginning till the end
3. GOALS/OBJECTWES/JUSTIFICATION
The Project when eventually completed will add 80MW to the National Grid phase 1 of the Project.
4. REQUIREMENTS
Interested International/National Consultancy Firms that wish to participate in this competition should submit their forms profile which must include but not limited to the following documents.
(I) Evidence of Incorporation of the Company with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate
(iii) VAT Certificate and Evidence of Remittance to FIRS (Original document to be
sighted during Opening session)
(iv) Evidence of firms corporate registration with Appropriate Professional body,
(v) Details of staff strength including their CV and profile of key staff
(vi) Details of previous similar job undertaken including Scope
(vii) Clear indication of Head Office Address
(viii) Evidence of up-to-date Annual Returns
(ix) Sworn Affidavit that the firm and its Directors are not bankrupt
(xi) Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking Support (Bank reference and Recent Statement of Accounts)
(xii) Evidence of possession of both technical and Managerial competence to perform the Contract,
(xiii) Evidence of possession of Equipment and other physical facilities including post Contract Consultations/Services as appropriate.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
All Qualified Firms among these that express interest will be invited to submit Technical proposal.
All submissions for expression of Interest should be made in three (3) Hard Copies Binded (Spiral/Non Spiral) and marked on the top left of the Envelope “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR 1G7 CONSULTANCY SERVICES” Addressed to THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, KAINJI HYDRO ELECTRIC PLC. AND SUBMITTED TO THE PROCUREMENT OFFICE on or before 8th March, 2010.
