  1. This invitation for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice for the Project that appears in the Development Business, issue no. 637 and Daily Newspaper of Nigeria of July 3rd. 2009.
  2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association World Bank  in various currencies to finance the cost of the Third National Fadama Development Project (NFDP-III); It is intended that part of the processed of this Credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Vehicle and Motorcycles.
  3. The Jigawa State Fadama Coordination Office (SFCO) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of Vehicle and Motorcycles.

It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of 40 KVA 380/220volt sound proof Electricity Generating set and 100KVA by 11kv Tropicalized Electricity Transformer.

A       PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (CONTRACTORS / SUPPLIERS)

A Reputable and interested contractors and suppliers are required to submit their applications along with the following documents:

  1. i.            Evidence  of incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
  2. ii.            Evidence of tax clearance certificate in the last three years (2007-2009)
  3. iii.            Evidence of VAT remittance in the last three years (2007-2009)
  4. iv.            Company profiles which should include names, qualifications and experience of key personnel, list of similar projects previously executed with photographs, contract values, locations and names of clients to include GSM numbers and e-mail addresses of the firm if available.
  5. v.            Evidence of similar projects handled by the firm including cost (practical completion certificate)
  6. vi.            Evidence of valid subsisting registration with Federal Polytechnic Ball in the relevant category
  7. Evidence of financial capability to handle the chosen project.
  8. Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after opening of pre-qualification documents.

The invitation for pre-qualification is not an invitation to tender; only pre-qualified contractors/ Suppliers will be invited to tender.

A INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONSULTANTS INTERESTED IN PROVIDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES ON CONSTUCTION PROJECTS STATED ABOVE

Interested consultants are to forward pre-qualification documents stating the project they intend to handle. Such documents should include:
