1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received credit from the International

Development Association toward the cost of NIGERIA COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Computers and Accessories – BS/CBUDP/NCB/10/1

1. The Bauchi State Community Based Urban Development Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

1. Bidding wall be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and

IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines,

1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from BAUCHI STATE COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, at the address given below and inspect the Bidding Documents from 11:00am to 4:00pm Monday, to Thursdays, except on public holidays.

1. Qualifications requirements include:

Evidence of previous Snpph (Sale) of Similar Goods Proposed for the last Five (5) years. Last Three (3) years Audited Financial Statement to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and Adequate working capital

A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not/ be applied.

Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

1. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) Only. The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Draft in Favour of BAUCHI STATE COMMUNITY BASED URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or send by courier services on request.

1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:30 a.m on MAY 11TH

2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:30 a.m on MAY 11TH 2010, All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security or Certified Bank Draft of at least 2% of bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 591of 2^nd July, 2007 and 4 National Dailies of the same date.
2. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Science and Technology Education Post-Basic Project (STEP-B Project), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the procurement of Laboratory Equipments and Chemicals, Electronic Boards, Text Books, and Sound Proof Generator.
3. The Science and Technology Education Post-Basic Project, (STEP-B Project: Federal Government Girls’ College, Sagamu), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

Bidders may bid for any one or more lots and discounts offered for the award of combined lots will be considered in bid evaluation.

1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB). a procedure specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the FGGC, Saganu Project Secretariat. Science and Technology Education Post-Basic Project and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below, between the hours of 10.00 am to 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.

1. Qualifications requirements include: (i) Evidence of previous supply (sale) of similar equipment for the past 5 years, (ii) Audited financial statements for the last three years, (iii) Evidence of registration with appropriate/relevant Government Agency. A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

1. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) or USS80.00 (Eighty Dollars only) The method of payment will be Cash or certified Bank Draft in Favour of STEP-B PROJECT: FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GIRLS’ COLLGE, SAGAMU. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or by courier services on request.

1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:00 noon local time on 6^th May, 2010. Late bids will be rejected. Bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below on 6^th May 2010 at 12:00 noon local time. This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in DG Market of the World Bank on 19^th June, 2009 and daily trust of July 3, 2009.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the international Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of National Fadama Development Project III, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for payment under the contract for procurement of Computer and office machines. Niger State is one of the thirty Six participating states on the project.

The Niger State Fadama Co-ordination office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of under listed equipment.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive bidding process as specified in the World Bank Guidelines for procurement under IBRD loans and IDA credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as define in the guideline.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00pm (Monday to Thursdays) and 9:00 am -1:00 pm (Fridays)

2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association (World Bank) in various currencies to finance the cost of the Proposed Federal Roads Development Project (FRDP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Operational Vehicles  and Equipments,
3. The Road Sector Development Team (RSDT) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Operational Vehicles and Equipments to enhance Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) activities as follows:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement  under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines, ‘May 2004′, revised October 1,2006

Requirements) for supply of goods; And/or

iii.  Manufacturer’s Authorization / or Declaration for a line of credit for the goods to be supplied by the Bidder

The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s):

Previous experience in supply of vehicles and equipment of similar types and magnitude.

1. The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that the Goods its offers meet the usage requirement stipulated in the Bidding Document.

A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.
