The National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna is inviting interested and qualified registered companies to submit Technical and Financial bids for the procurement of the under listed items:

LOT 1: 1 unit of Toyota jeep 4×4 SUV

LOT 2: 6 units of Toyota Hillux 2×2 Double-cabin, Pick-up

LOT 3: 155 units of multimedia Projector

SVGA-ANSI 2400/2500 Lumens and

155 units of Projector screens of 70″x70 screen view

LOT 4: 190 units of DVD player, 190 units of CD/Radio cassette player and Ear phones, and 190 21″ TV coloured screen

BIDS REQUIREMENTS

Interested companies should submit their bids along with the documents listed below:

i) Full details of the company’s profile

ii) Certificate of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

iii) Three years Tax clearance certificate (2006, 2007,& 2008)

iv) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance

v) Evidence of similar job(s) executed in the past (with verifiable addresses)

vi) Company’s organizational structure, and available man power with List of personnel/officers.

vii) Evidence of financial capability

Viii) Company audited accounts, over the past three years (2006-2008)

ix) Payment of non-refundable bidding fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) per lot

SUBMISSION

Interested companies are to collect the bidding documents from the Headquarters; They are to submit separate Technical and Financial proposals in sealed envelopes duly marked: “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL” and “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL” respectively. The two proposals together with the documents earlier listed are to be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the: Director-General/Chief Executive, National Teachers Institute.KM 5,Kaduna-Zaria, P.M.B 2191 Kaduna. These documents are to be drop in the Tender Box in the office of the Registrar. Bidders are to ensure that they also sign the submission Register at the Registrar’s office.

CONSULTANCY FOR THE CONDUCT OF MONITORING AND EVALUATION SERVICES

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM FIRMS

This request for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in the Development Business. Issue no 637, Daily Trust and Punch newspapers of Nigeria of 3rd July, 2009.

The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (World Bank) in various currencies to finance the cost of the Third National Fadama Development Project (Fadama III). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Development of Framework for Effective Implementation of Fadama 111 Monitoring and Evaluation system.

The Third National Fadama Coordination Office (NFCO) now invites eligible interested firms to indicate interest in providing the above services.

The study includes:

A. THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FRAMEWORK FOR EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF FADAMA III MONITORING AND EVALUATION SYSTEM

The objective is to:

i. Carry out rapid appraisal of M&E unit at the state level to determine appropriate framework for data collection and analysis.

ii. To identify skill gaps in Monitoring and Evaluation System the project.

iii. To design and/or update Management Information System (MIS) at state level, where appropriate.

iv. Develop a template for tracking project progress.

B. FIRMS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

· The firm should have a team of experts with appropriate skills and experience to provide the support

· The experts must not have less than 25 years of cumulative experience in participation in donor funded project (preferably those of the world Bank and multilateral), preparation/ appraisal and drafting project documentations

· The expert should have experience in developing M&E framework for monitoring agricultural development projects, e.g. ISCR format to get desired results in the area of livestock, fishery and basket of crops.

· The experts should have experience in designing and preparing implementation training manuals of the World Bank Project.

· The expats should have experience of institution capacity building process for M&E System.

· The consulting firms are expected to deliver within one hundred and eighty days (180days).
