INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INFILTRATION GALLERY AT NAFADA TOWN, NAFADA LGA, GOMBE STATE IN 2009 APPROPRIATION UNDER UPPER BENUE RIVER BASIN
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY P.M.B 2086, YOLA ADAMAWA STATE
- The Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority (U.B.R.B.D.A) is Desirous of constructing an infiltration gallery at Nafada Town, Nafada LGA, Gombe State in the FY2009. Appropriation and therefore invites submissions for Technical and Financial proposals from qualified and reputable contractors with proven competence in the fields of Engineering for the Engineering work:
- ENGINEERING WORKS:
Construction of infiltration gallery
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work for the projects include;
- Infiltration gallery civil works
- Package treatment plan
- Electromechanical works: and
- Plant operator’s house.
REQUIREMENTS
The minimum technical and responsive requirements are as follows
- Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria including Articles and Memorandum of Association and up-to date Returns with the CAC
- Evidence of Income Tax Clearance Certificate and payment of taxes for the last three years 2006, 2007 and 2008.
- Evidence of VAT Registration. FIRS PIN Number, and receipts of payment.
- Possession of experience as a Prime Contractor on at least Three (3) projects of similar nature and complexity within the last 5 years (to comply with this requirement, works quoted should be at least 70% physically completed).
- Verifiable evidence of at least 3 Nos. completed similar projects in the last than N200million with relevant award letters and completion certificate
- Verifiable evidence of Personnel capabilities, including list of key Professional, Project Managers and CV’s of key staff to be engaged in the project.
- Verifiable list of available Equipments and facilities necessary to undertake the project.
- Profile of the Company and Auditors Report for last 3 years
- Satisfactory evidence of financial capability from a reputable Banking.
- Possession of satisfactory Quality Assurances/Quality Control Manuals.
Bidders are to provide a Bid Security as follows: N5 million (Five Million Naira) to their bids. Non compliance will lead to disqualification.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Central Bank of Nigeria is desirous to undertake the following projects.
1. Maintenance of Sun Severs
2. Maintenance of Netapp Storage Devices
Consequently, the Bank wishes to invite reputable and competent companies to tender for the projects as stated below.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
Maintenance Support of tine above stated Infrastructure in CBN (REF : CBM2010SPMO-02)
a) The scope of the bid requested is for the comprehensive and basic maintenance support of the following Sun Servers and NETAPP Infrastructure at Garki Office, the Head Office and Lagos Office of the Central Bank of Nigeria

b) The services will be offered for Normal Business Availability by Resident Engineers on site between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and Off-hours Availability (on need basis)
c) Ensure at least 99.99% performance availability
3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Interested and competent companies wishing to carry out the above job must submit the following documents for verification:-
a.) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
b.) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as and when due.
c.) Comprehensive company profile including registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s), facsimile numbers).
d) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past.
e.) Reference letter from a bank stating financial ability to carry out such project(s).
f) Current company’s audited statement of accounts.
g.) Evidence of employees Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a pension Fund Administrator.
h.) Evidence of remitting employer and employee pension contributions to the appropriate pension fund custodian.
i,) Evidence of transferring all Pension Funds and Assets prior to the commencement of the pension Reform Act to licensed pension operators.
3.0 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
a). The vendor must be an Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) or an Authorized Dealer of OEM of the items under the scope of works.
b). The Company must be registered by Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria
4.0 Collection of Bid Document
Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the above job should collect the information for Bid (IEB) from Secretary major Contract Tenders Committee, PSSD (2nd Floor, wing C) on the payment of a non-refundable fee of N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira only) for each bid.
