INVITATION FOR CONTRACTORS TO BID FOR ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF OFFICE EQUIPMENT
1.0
PREAMBLE: Federal Ministry of Finance invites interested reputable and competent contractors, experienced in maintaining equipment to bid for consideration in tendering for Annual Comprehensive Maintenance Services Contract for its office equipment in the Ministry’s Headquarters, Central Business District, Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja.
2.0.
SCOPE OFWORK
The company is to provide the following services on an annual service contract:
2.1
Carry out an initial maintenance audit with a view to determining the current state of the equipment viz: Photocopiers, Shredders, Computers, Printers, Scanners and UPS.
2.2
Ensure a programmed maintenance services of the equipment.
2.3
Carry out regular preventive maintenance to prevent break-down of equipment and replacement of faulty part(s) without recourse to the Federal Ministry of Finance.
2.4
Ensure functionality of all equipment.
2.5
Provide quality assurance of all consumables supplied in the store of the Ministry.
3.0
Prospective contractors will be required to submit the documents underlined
3.1
Evidence of incorporation with the cooperate Affairs Commission.
3.2
Evidence of three years Tax clearance Certificate;
3.3
Evidence of VAT registration;
3.4
Evidence of financial capability and bank support;
3.5
Evidence of Company audited account for the past three years;
3.6
Experiences and technical qualification of key personnel;
3.7
Evidence of similar projects executed and knowledge of the industry: and
3.8
Any other relevant information
4.0
The office equipment will be available for inspection between the hours of 10:00a.m- 3:00p.m. till 24th March 2010. Bidders should contact the Office Manager in Room 420 phase II for accessibility.
5.0
Bid documents should be collected from the office of the Assistant Director Procurement after paying the mandatory registration fees.
6.0

7.0
The closing date for the submission of Bid documents is 31st March 2010 at 1 2.30 p.m. while the bids will opened at 1.00 pm on the same day at the Conference Half 4th floor, phase II, Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja. Interested bidders are invited to witness the opening of the bid

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES
A. BACKGROUND
The Yakubu Gowon Centre for National Unity and international Cooperation was established in 1992 as a private, non-profit making, non- partisan, non-governmental organization (NGO). The organization was established to further the cause of Nigeria unity. A strong and united Nigeria, free of diseases and poverty, where every citizen has an opportunity for self expression and the realization of their full potentials.
B. SCOPE OF SERVICES REQUIRED
YGC requires the services of an External Auditor to carry out the annual audit of its financial statements. Interested firms are invited to submit a written proposal and provide information indicating their professional capabilities and experience in providing these services.
The objectives for the service requirement include:
- Auditing of YGC’s annual financial statements
- Reporting to the Board an opinion on whether or not the financial statements fairly present YGC’s financial position and results of operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Providing as part of the annual audit, advice and recommendations on YGC’s management and internal control procedures.
- Responding to requirements and duties of the auditors as required.
C. EVALUATION CRITERIA
Evaluation of bids will be based on the following criteria.

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION from reputable contractors with RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and REQUISITE EXPERTISE TO UNDERTAKE EXECUTION oF MDG/CGS PROJECTS IN SOKOTO STATE
A. INTRODUCTION
As part of its commitment and mandate to the attainment of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the Sokoto State Government in partnership with Federal Government of Nigeria (OSSAP-MDG) will be utilizing conditional grant for implementation of project and programmes for the attainment of MDGs. The State in collaboration following OSSAP-MDG has made provision for the execution of 2009 MDG/CGS projects in the following area:
- Construction Solar Powered Boreholes
- Child Development and Growth Monitoring
- Construction of one Block of 4 compartment VIP Latrine
- Strengthening of free medical care for pregnant mothers children and vulnerable groups.
The office of the Chairman State and programme implementation unit hereby invites suitably qualified and reputable contracting firm to pre-qualify for the works under the approval
B. PRE-QUALIFICATION
- Evidence of incorporation with CAC
- VAT registration
- Tax clearance certificate (2004, 2005 and 2006)
- Company audited account for at least 3 years
- Evidence of financial capability and clean bill of healthy financial position in the form of referee from the bank.
- Evidence of experience/technical qualification including key personnel
- Equipment and technology capability
SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Two (2) Hard copies and one (1) soft copy (CD or DVD) of the completed pre-qualification documents should be submitted in sealed envelope which shall bear words, PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR MDG/CGS 2009 indicating specific project applied for Pre-qualification of contract for 1,2,3, or all. The envelopes should not bear any mark indicating the identity of the submitter. All documents shall be submitted at the following address on or before 1st March 2010 to the Office of the Chairman MDGs Programme implementation committee, MDGS Unit, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Usman Faruk Secretarial Sokoto, Sokoto State.
Note:
Only short listed contractors will be invited to leader. The office of the Chairman MDGs will not make any form of payment or refund whatsoever for expenses incurred in response to this invitation.

1.0 Introduction:
Ogun-Oshum River Basin Development Authority (O-ORBDA), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources (FMA&WR) is desirous of executing some approved capital projects under its 2009 Budget Appropriation.
2.0 Invitation:
In view of the above, registered and reputable Consultants and Contractors are hereby invited to submit both Technical and Financial bids for the execution of the project as follows:
LOTA: Design Review of Ede Headworks.
LOT B: Construction of Centre Pivot irrigation System with complete Accessories at Oke-odan. LOT C: Auxiliary Works on Oke-Odan Irrigation Scheme.
3.0 Scope of Works
LOT A: Design Review of Water supply Infrastructure for Existing Dam and study on Rehabilitation needs of the Dam
LOT B: Construction of one unit of 45 hectares centre pivot irrigation system with complete accessories.
LOT C: Site Clearing, Land leveling and access road.
4.0 REQUIREMENTS FROM CONSULTANTS/ CONTRACTORS
i. Evidence of Legal Status of the Company (Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with CAC.
ii. Registration with relevant bodies such as COREN (Corporate Registration) for Consultants only.
iii. Company Profile and address of Business.
iv. Previous Experience on similar jobs.
v. Work Programme/ Service methodology and Organizational Chart (for Consultants only.)
vi. Project Personnel Compliment (List) with Curriculum Vitae (CV) and photocopies of certificates.
vii. Evidence of Registration with Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority.
- Evidence as manufacturer or accredited Agent/ Dealer in Nigeria (for Lot B)
ix. Current Tax Clearance Certificate. x 3 year Audited Report.

(4) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy per project – Microsoft Officer (in a clearly labeled flash dick) packaged in spate sealed envelopes and marked TECHNICAL PROPOSAL OR FINANCIAL PROPOSAL Both envelopes should then be enclosed in a third large envelop with the title of the project and Lot identification clearly written at the top right hand corner of the envelope, and addressed to:
