INVITATION TO SUBMIT TECHNICAL/FINANCIAL PROPOSAL FOR THE DESIGN OF SOME INLAND WATERWAYS NAVIGATIONAL ROUTES/CHANNELS
INTRODUCTION:
The National Inland Waterway Authority (NIWA), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Transport with Headquarters at Lokoja, Kogi State intends to embark on the development of Navigational routes/channels along the upper river Niger and the River Benue. Suitable and interested consultants/Companies with relevant experience are hereby invited to tender for the design of the routes/channels.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work include to carry out survey and studies planning and design, and to render specifications, and preparation of tender documents. The routes/channels are:
Lot1 : upper River Niger: Yelwa/Yauri-Baro - 436km
Lot 2: Upper River Benue: Yola Makurdi - 575km
Lot 3: Lower River Benue: Makurdi-Lokoja - 227km
The report including all proposal are to be submitted in five (5) hard and one soft copy. It should indicate areas to be improved through dredging and other works and estimated volume of dredge materials, alternative channels, chart data, rock works and river training works, among others. TENDER
Interested reputable and competent Companies are expected to meet the following requirements for pre-qualification
· Evidence of being a professional body
· Registration Certificate with corporate Affairs commission
· Evidence of similar job done within the past three (3) years
· Detailed Company profile
· Address/Officer locations
· Evidence of VAT certificate
· Evidence of company’s Income Tax payment for the past three (3) years.
· Name and Address of bankers and Reference letter from such banks.
· Payment of non-refundable fee in bank draft of N50,000.00 payable in favour of NIWA, Headquarters, Lokoja, duly receipted by the Cash Office.
SUBMISSION
Completed Technical/Financial proposal should written in English language signed, sealed and marked “Confidential” with the titles: FINANCIAL BID DOCUMENTS FOR LOT NO. Name of the Lot should be at the Left in corner of the envelopes address to:

iii. Construction of double cell box culvert at Kaida Sabo
iv. Construction of F.R.C.N. old Kutunku 2.6km road. The road is to be surface dressed finished.
B. QUALIFICATION FOR BIDDING
Interested companies must meet the following conditions:
i. Must be a registered company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) attach a copy.
ii. Must be a registered company with Gwagwalada Area Council, Attach a copy.
iii. Submit a detailed company profile including:
a. Paid up share capital
b. List of Directors and key management staff
c. List of requisite equipment for operation of the job its tendering
iv. Submit list of project that has been executed in the past three (3) years including pictures,
v. Evidence of VAT and TAX clearance certificate

INTRODUCTION:
The National Inland Waterway Authority (NIWA), a parastatal under the Federal ministry of Transport with Headquarters at Lokoja, Kogi State intends to embark on the Supply of water Weed/Hyacinth Clearing Ancillary Equipment. Reputable and interested companies with relevant experience are hereby invited to pre-qualify for consideration in tendering for the Supply of Water/Hyacinth Clearing Equipment with Dredging capabilities.
SCOPE OF WORK
The equipment to be supplied will be used for water hyacinth clearing as well as for maintenance dredging, to open up canals, sited and blocked waterways, widening narrow channels, creeks, rivulets, etc.

INEC seek to carryout t underlisted project, therefore reputable firms with the competent to execute it are hereby requested to submit tender as detailed below:
Project Title; Printing of Accounting Documents.
Project Description:
(i) Printing of carbonized payment voucher
(ii) Printing Imprest Cash Book
(iii) Printing of unpresented mandate Register
Proposal Requirements
Interested bidders are expected to submit Technical and Financial proposal in separate envelopes
A. Technical Bids
The technical proposal should include:
(i) Technical specifications such as size of paper, paper gram, brand of paper, printing technology, and print format to use for each of the accounting documents.
(ii) The company/firm profile highlighting in details the following.
(a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(b) Immediate past three years Audited Accounts of the firms.
(c) Immediate past three years tax clearance of either the firms or the principal partner or the proprietor.
(d) Evidence of Financial capability and Banking support.
(c) Details of experience/Technical qualification of key personnel.
(f) List and evidence of similar projects executed and knowledge of the industry.
(g) List and evidence of equipment and Technical capability to be utilized for the project.
(h) Evidence of VAT registration, remittance of VAT, and remittance of both employee and employers NSITF contributions.
(iii) The duration for completion of the printing of the Accounting documents from the date of award of contract
B. Financial Bid
The financial proposal package should state:
(i) The unit cost for printing at a range of 500 booklets to 2000 booklets of each of the Accounting documents listed above.
(ii) The bid validity period for the quoted price.
General Information
(i) All tender must be accompanied with non-refundable processing fees of N 10,000.00

(iii) The dosing date for submission of the tender shall be on or before 7th October 2009 in any national Newspaper,
(iv) Only firms that are Technical responsive will be contacted after evaluation of Technical bid and invited for opening of financial bid
