The ECOWAS Parliament invites bids for the design, production and supply of Conference Bags for the first 2010 Ordinary Session of Parliament holding in May 2010 from reputable, fully registered companies with proven experience in the business.
The specifications are as follows:

Ecowas Parliament Logo and Labeled with the

· Standard Quality 100 units of brown leather bag Imprinted with

Sealed quotations clearly marked Conference Bags 2010 and detailing unit price, delivery date and payment terms, should be submitted along with artwork or samples labeled with the company’s name and logo.

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR UNFINISHED/ROLLOVER YEAR 200 CAPITAL PROJECTS
The Federal Polytechnic, Idah intends to execute the unfinished/Roll-Over year 2007 MDG projects which has been appropriated in the 2009 Appropriation Act. Interested and competent Companies are therefore invited to tender for the project as follows:
· Construction of drainage channels (Lot 1)
· Construction of Borehole (Lot 2)
· Procurement of project Vehicle, generating set, and office furniture for Women Entrepreneurship Centre (Lot 3)
· Supply and Installation of Workshop/Laboratory equipments for schools of Engineering and Environmental Studies (Lot 4)
TENDER REQUIREMENTS
Interested Companies are expected to meet the following tender requirements
· Evidence of registration with the corporate affairs Commission.
· Tax clearance Certificates for the last three years:
· Evidence of VAT:
· Evidence of Registration with the Federal Ministry of Works Registration Board
· Reference from a reputable bank, indicating financial capability to execute the Project
· List of verifiable Past and current projects handled:
· Company’s profile, indicating staff strength, qualifications, experience, equipments, plants, detailed address, and other relevant information
COLLECTION OF TENDERS
Tender documents can be collected with effect from 19th August 2009 from the Acting Director of physical planning after payment of a tender fee of twenty-five thousand naira (25,000) for any of the project at the Bursary department of the polytechnic. Companies which wish to tender for multiple projects are expected to pay tender fees in the same multiple.

The ECOWAS Parliament invites bids from reputable, fully registered companies for the design of, production and supply of one thousand (1000) copies of 2010 Almanac of the ECOWAS Parliament.
The almanac which should be a one-paged coloured publication and adorned with the institution’s logo, will carry the photograph of the Honourable speaker of the parliament, those of four (4) deputy Speakers of parliament and also the photographs of one hundred and three (103) current members of parliament. Of course, the photographs will be made available by the Ecowas parliament
Sealed quotations clearly marked 2010 ECOWAS Parliament Almanac and detailing unit price, delivery date and payment terms, should be submitted along with artwork or samples labeled with the company’s name and logo.

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER
The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto now invites eligible and qualified Consultants to pre-qualify and submit sealed bid. Bid for the Development of Virtual Library in partner institution (Usmanu Danfodlyo University, Sokoto; Federal College Of Education (Technical) Gusau and Waziru Umaru Federal Polytechnic , Birnin Kebbi) using a Federal Government of Nigeria credit received from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of Science and Technology Education Post Basic (STEP-B). Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines; Procurement under (IBRD) Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Nigeria as defined in the Bidding Documents.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work includes:
i Setting up of digitization workflow
ii installation and configuration of virtual library software
iii Training of technical staff
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested companies are invited to submit the following pre-qualification documents:
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
ii. Company Tax Clearance for the last three years and VAT registration
iii. Evidence of financial capacity to execute this project, e.g. audited accounts for the last three(3) years and a letter of reference from their bankers,
iv. List of similar verifiable projects successfully executed by the company with locations, letters of award and completion certificates, in the last 5 years.
v. List of managerial, technical and administrative staff of the Company.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Successfully pre-qualified companies will be required to purchase the Bidding Documents at the address below upon payment of non-refundable fee of N 10,000.00 payable to UDUS STEP-B Account No: 6016106929 with Zenith Bank. Bidding Documents can be delivered by e-mail or physically purchased between 9.00 am – 3.30 pm Mondays – Thursdays and 9.00 am – 1.00 pm Fridays upon presentation of evidence of payment Receipt of bidding documents will be closed from 31st August 2009 of pre-qualification.
RECEIPT OF BIDDING/PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Completed pre-qualification and Bidding Documents must be in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Pre-qualification to Tender for the development of Virtual Library” or “Bids for the Development of Virtual Library” and delivered to the address below. Only pre-qualified companies will be contacted and are eligible to purchase the bidding documents”. Receipt of pre-qualification documents will be closed on from 31st August 2009 of this invitation by 12.00 pm. Bids can be submitted electronically. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at, the address below at 12.15 pm, on 31st August 2009.
