1. PREAMBLE:
The Afam Power Plc is requesting applications for pre-qualification from manufactures representative, competent and reputable companies for pre- ‘ qualification in the under-listed lots.

5. Evidence of Payment of Non-Refundable Processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00).
4. PROCESSING FEES:
In order to be considered for participation in the tender process, pre-qualification documents should be submitted with evidence of payment of non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only, payable in Bank Draft to Afam Power Plc for each Lot.
5 SUBMISSION OF PRE- QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

1. INTRODUCTION
The Federal Polytechnic. Ado-Ekiti, intends to execute the following projects under the 2007/2008 ETF Interventions. The description and scope of work involved are as stated below:
2. SCOPE OFWORK
lot (1) Establishment of e-Library with computer Accessories
The Project will be executed by contractors who have the ability and verifiable record of experience in the Koha integrated Library package and e-Granary Digital Library. This should be submitted along with the proposal on the project.
LOT (2) Procurement of Furniture for the Library
This Project involves procurement of Porters Desks and Circulation cabinets. The Project will be executed in accordance with specifications and other details contained in the contract documents. Interested contractors must possess the ability and verifiable record of experience in the procurement of furniture.
LOT (3) Procurement of Books And Journals Interested contractors must possess the ability and verifiable record of experience in the supply of Technical and Science related Books and journal.
LOT (4) Construction of Foundry Workshop Complex
Interested contractors must possess the ability and verifiable record of experience in the construction of Steel Trusses which must be submitted with the proposal on the project.
LOT (5) Procurement of Workshop/Laboratory/Scientific and Office
Equipment/Furniture
The Project involves procurement of academic and specialized Scientific, Office and Laboratory Equipment and Furniture. Ability and verifiable record of experience in this area is essential,
Interested and competent Contractors/ Suppliers are hereby invited for pri;-qualification exercise as a first step in the award of contracts for the projects.
PRE-OUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested and competent Contractors/Suppliers are required to submit Pre-
Qualification documents with verifiable evidence of, but not limited to, the
followings:
a. Company profile and organizational structure including names and resume-
of key personnel/partners as well as their addresses, where applicable
b Evidence of company incorporation and current Tax Clearance Certificate
for the last three (3) years
c. Verifiable list of previous/similar major works executed within the last five
years and their locations.
d. Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency
e Provision of VAT certificate(s) on executed jobs)
f Evidence of registration with the Federal Ministry of Works
g Evidence of registration with Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti.
h List of relevant equipment intended for use on ,he project indicating their
EQUIPMENT/FURNITURE
The project involves procurement of academic and specialized scientific, Office and Laboratory Equipment and furniture. Ability and verifiable record of experience in this area is essential.
Interested and competent Contractors/ Suppliers are hereby invited for pre qualification exercise as a first step in the award of contracts for the project.
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested and competent Contractors/ Suppliers are required to submit pre-qualification document with verifiable evidence of, but not limited to, this below:

4 COLLECTION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION
Pre-qualification forms will be available for collection between 8.00a.m. and 4.00p.m. of the working days of the week in the office of the Director (Physical Planning Department) upon payment of N 10,000. 00per Lot at the Bursary of the Polytechnic.
5 SUBMISION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
All duly completed pre-qualification documents (in duplicate) should be submitted in sealed envelope, marked as………… (Name of project to be specified) …………….and addressed to:
