INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION TO TENDER FOR THE FURNISHING OF THE MAIN BUILDING OF THE SHEHU SHAGARI PRESIDENTIIAL COMPLEX, ABUJA

The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federal (OSGF) intends to carry out the furnishing of the main Building of the Shehu Shagari Presidential Complex, Abuja.

The Ministerial Tenders Board, therefore, invites interested competent and reputable furniture companies to make submissions for pre-qualification to tender for the furnishing works.

SCOPE OF WORK:

The scope of work shall be as follows:

(a). Supply and setting up of Furniture items in the offices in the entire Main Building of the Shehu Shagari Presidential Complex; each office receiving adequate and appropriate furniture items commensurate with the purpose for its use as contained in the contract documents.

(b). Supply and installation of approved quality Window Blinds in offices of the entire Main Building of the Shehu Shagari Presidential Complex as contained in the contract documents

(c). Supply and installation of approved quality Persian/Rug carpets in some designated office of the Main Building of the Shehu Shagari Presidential Complex as contained in the contract documents and which can also be physically inspected on site.

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS;

All interested furniture companies are invited to submit the

documents below;

(I) Tax Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years;

(II) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

(III) VAT Registration Certificate;

(IV) List and verifiable documentary evidence of similar and other jobs successfully executed within the last (3) years or being currently executed with contract with sums not less than N250 Million;

(V) List of equipment to be used for the furnishing work and their locations. State whether the equipment is on lease or owned;

(VI) List of Key staff including professional (if any) to be attached to the work. Enclose photocopies of relevant professional certificates where applicable;

(VII) Audited account of the company for the last three (3) years duly endorsed by a firm of chartered Accountants and Banker’s reference; and

(VIII) Evidence of working Capital of not less than N200 Million and an Authority to seek reference from bidder’s bankers.

NB

Originals of documents (I) – (III) above must be provided for sighting at the opening session.

HONORS AWARD MEDALS

The Ministry of Special Duties in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) intends to purchase National Honours Award Medals for the 2009 National Honours Award Investiture Ceremony,

The Tenders Board, therefore, invites interested competent and reputable Companies or Manufacturers’ Representatives to tender for the Supply of National Honours Award Medals.

Interested Companies or Manufacturers’ Representatives are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of N50.000.00 and collect Tenders Document . From the Secretary, Tenders Board, 6th Floor Room 1 .8 6.22 Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase I, Abuja, The companies are also advised to inspect the specification of the medals to be supplied.

TENDER REQUIREMENTS:

All interested Companies or Manufacturers’ Representatives are expected to submit the following with the Tenders Document.

(II) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

(III) VAT Registration Certificate;

(IV) Receipt of the non-refundable tender fee of N50, 000.00; and

BIDDING REQUIREMENTS:

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased and obtained for any of the Lots in the two (2) categories by interested bidders on the payment of a non – refundable fee of Twenty thousand Naira (N20,000,00) only by Bank Draft made payable to the “Federal Ministry of Commerce & Industry”.

AGRICULTURAL SAMPLE CENSUS ACTIVITIES

In Compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources invites competent and interested Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants to Bid for the following Projects for the Conduct of the 2009 National Agricultural Census.

Lot 1: Advocacy and Publicity in the Print and Electronic Media including the Production of Fliers and handbills for circulation in the 774 local Government Arrears (LGAs) and 36 States of the Federation, and FCT.

Lot 2: Printing of Agricultural Census Questionnaires and Manuals for General Household Survey (GHS) (Scanable), Small Scale Farmers (Crop, Livestock, Poultry, Fishing and Forestry), Modern Agricultural Holdings and Crop Cutting.

Lot 3: Organization and Training of the Trainer (TOT) and Zonal Training for Supervisors and Enumerators.

Lot 4: Implementation and Monitoring of Field Exercise Including Data Collection, Quality Checks and Control.

Lot5: Procurement and Supply of Global Positioning System (GPS), T-Shirts, Face Caps and Survey Bags for Field Works

Lot6: Supply of Field Equipment Such as Laptops, Tablet, Desktops Scanners, Stationeries & Computer Consumables for the project

Lot7: supply and installation of ICT Infrastructures including internet facilities for the Ministry and the Entire Project

Lot8: Agricultural Staff Training and Sustainable of the Exercise including Contingency for the entire project.

2.0 QUALIFICATION:

  • The minimum technical requirements are as follows:
  • Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria Possession of experience as a prime Contractor/Consultant on at least five (5) projects of similar nature and complexity within the last 5years (to comply with this requirement, work quoted should be at least 70% physically completed)
  • Evidence personnel capabilities including list of key Professional, curriculum Vitae of each Professional with relevant Professional Affiliations.
  • Profile of Company with copies of Articles of Association Memorandum of Understanding and registration with relevant Professional bodies
  • Audited report in related project area of at least N20Million value in any of the last 3years
  • Liquidity and/or evidence of access to or availability of confirmed credit facilities of not less than N20,000,000.00 (Twenty Million Naira).
  • Documented evidence of compliance with the requirement of Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) and payment of tax for the last three consecutive years 2006, 2007, & 2008. Evidence of VAT Registration Certificate, FIRS PIN Number;
  • Office address, Phone number as well as list of available Equipments and Facilities necessary to undertake the project.
  • Possession of satisfactory Quality Assurances/Quality Control Manuals.
  • For Consultants, there should be evidence of Registration of Firm and Principal with relevant Professional bodies.
