Research Specialist – Ref: Se120907
The main focus of the job is to provide accurate and credible market information on the Nigerian financial sector by managing and coordinating the implementation of the company’s specialized surveys
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and Coordinate the implementation of the company’s specialized surveys and scoping studies.
- Conduct desk research and literature reviews
- Design methodology for qualitative and quantitative research
- Implement primary research using individual interviews, focus group discussions
- Manage research projects and market research firms
- Integrate information and data by collating, analyzing and interpreting data
- Communicate research findings

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
- A Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Anthropology, International Development, Public Policy or any other related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, three years of which must have been spent in managing and conducting research
- Must have strong experience in Qualitative and Quantitative research methods Experience in statistical Modeling and Analysis and must be versed in the usage of Statistical Software (e.g. SPSS, Stata)
- Familiarity with Microfinance and access to finance issues is advantage.
All candidates must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
