The group is looking for dynamic, result-oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the position below in the groups newest operation, the Ambar Tinapa located in Calabar, Nigeria
Position: Sales Executives
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, oversee, direct and supervise sales activities to achieve the hotel’s business and commercial targets.
- Prepare the hotel’s sales budget and achieve same.
- Maximize the rooms and food and beverage sales of the hotel.
- Optimize the marketing of all the hotel’s products.
- Develop and maintain external relations in order to facilitate sales of the hotel’s products.
- Ensure a smooth operation of the department, train and develop team members. Maintain Brand Image & Standards
Requirements:
- A good first degree or HMD, preferably in Marketing, Business Studies, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality or Public Relations
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar or related position with demonstrable knowledge of the Nigerian market segments and ability to define and develop local and international markets.
- Relevant Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving license
- Hotel sales experience is a MUST
Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, especially in English Language
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Computer proficiency both for database and presentation
