Senior Geologist/ Geophysicist

Job Description
- Coordinates the exploration activities in the Company’s concession areas. Contributes to the department work programme and budget, participates in the geophysical/geological data study and evaluation, monitors contractors work etc.
- Participates and implements an overall hydrocarbon exploration strategy for the Company aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of company’s exploration activities and optimization of hydrocarbon discoveries
- Directs and participates in the research of existing geophysical/geological data and initiating the development of short and long term plans for G&G studies,
- Contributes to the technical/economic evaluation of hydrocarbon in place prior to drilling and identifies the need for further studies.
Person Specification/Requirement
- University Degree in the said field, other additional qualification is an advantage,
- Should .be a member of relevant professional bodies,
- High level proficiency in English
- Computer skill
- Driving License
- Good health and good coordination and communication ability are required.
Experience Needed
- Field of experience: Exploration in oil & gas Industry
- Minimum period of related experience: 10 years (At least 6 years work experience in Nigeria, 5 years experience for offshore, 3 years experience in office management)
Age Range/Gender: 35-45 years/Male
