A Leading International Oil & Gas company based in Nigeria is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the under-listed positions that exist in her client’s organisation
Position: API Inspectors (With Certifications)
Functions
- Must be able to input data to popular Visitor
- Perform internal and external visual inspections of pressure vessels and piping
- Perform CW inspections on piping welding and structural, (Steel, hangers, Structures) including data reports (R-is), relates hydro, PQRs, WPS’s welder guais NDE fabrication, installation and repairs per ASME, NBIC, API or AWS.
- Will coordinate and plan NDE work, Responsible to direct the NDE personnel
- Coordinate the required corrosion thickness Surveys, import the results into Visions, review/analyze the results and make recommendations.
Qualification
- Certified in accordance with the API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Codes. Piping inspection Codes and preferably API 553 Tank inspection Codes as well. Additional API certificate will be a plus
- AWS CWI certificate
- Ten (10) years API certified stationary equipment including boilers & pressure vessels and piping systems inspection experience required.
