The Yakubu Gowon Center for National Unity and International Cooperation is an NGO that has been working in the past 16 years to build a strong and United Nigeria. Its activities include management of international grants for health Interventions.
The Center seeks immediate employment of the potion below to be based in the following 18 states and FCT: Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Benue, Plateau, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Imo, Cross River, Ebonyi, Abia, Ondo, Osun and Oyo.
ZONAL COORDINATORS
Zonal coordinators to work in the North-East Zone (To be based in Maiduguri) and south west zone (to be based in Ibadan)
Role Purpose and Job Profile: Will be responsible for the development and management of the information system for improved and sustained programme performance at the state or constituent region.
SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a zonal focal point for YGC
- Manage the system for PR and SR data management and reporting on programme performances at the zonal level.
- Carry out routine data verification at health facility, LGA and state levels in the zone.
- Coordinate and participate in programme monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment activities at the zonal level.
- Prepare and disseminate periodic zonal level M & E reports to the management and partners.
- Liaises with zonal SR Representatives, state health ministries and RBM managers on all programme activities
- Participate in the monthly state level malaria programme management meeting within the zone:
- Coordinator of all programmes related activities within the zone?
- Liaising with implementation/donor partners and stakeholders on programme related activities within the zone:
- Identification and reporting of implementation bottlenecks to relevant levels.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A medical degree, Degree in Health Sciences or Social Sciences.
- 3 years post NYSC working experience
- Excellent contextual, analytical, written and communication skills.
- Ability to use statistical tools to analyse data.
- Sound knowledge to easily source and disseminate information
- Must be result driven, and willing to travel to project sites in the Health centers
